On this episode we’re featuring a very special guest by the name of @chico_chi

Chico Chi is a queer and non-binary transmasculine DJ/Producer who splits their time between Minnesota and California. 

Chi started their DJ journey while creating safer spaces and events for queer and transgender people of color in the Bay Area with Hunnies & Hot Sauce. They’re also the co-founder of the music & creative production house Tender Bois Club. 

Chico, which means boy in Spanish, is an ode to Chi’s trans identity and Chinese-Cuban roots. This hyphenated identity directly influences their eclectic song selection while curating multi-genre vibes that’ll take you on a journey of nostalgic sounds and beyond.

You can catch Chico Chi later this month for San Francisco’s Pride weekend at few different parties including: Queer Magic Friday night and the SF Pride After Party at Public Works.
