The only constant in life is change. For radical change you need courage. To have courage, you need to trust. Trust that everything will develop the way you need it to. Life always gives you what you need. Do you trust it? When everything goes that fast and suddenly everything is different, allow it time to let it settle. Standing behind the decks, losing myself in tracks, feeling the emotions in them over and over again, that's my way of processing everything that happens. So my dad got curious when I kept talking to him about my gigs (he already told me that he had been mixing when he was a young adult) and at some point he asked me to show him my music collection. He kind of confessed to me that he actually also sometimes really likes electronic music and so he asked me if I would do a mix for him. 

We digged together through my collection, I got an idea of what he likes and thats the final result! At some point I struggled, cause I wanted it to be perfect for my dad, but I came further more to the conclusion that no matter how important a project is, imperfection is always fine!  

yes, there are already well known tracks
yes, there a lot of vocals,
yes, there are a lot of cheesy tracks,
but I totally don’t care, cause this is all about a project to fulfill a wish of my dad!

I met Naroma at Festival Nomade in Chile 2018 and again in Brazil a month later at the Voodoohop festival. Besides having a great immediate connection it was apparent we shared a similar taste in music while having a distinct difference in track selection. After hearing i was planning on spending the summer in Berlin, Naroma kindly invited me to share some timeslots with her, Fusion Festival being the first one. Having never played together and having a very different approach to playing music and equipment we decided to jump in and have a back to back session at the Casino space with little to no prep. We played from 3:30 am until 9:30 am Monday morning and loved the magic that unfolded. Here’s a fraction of that recording with all the errors and beauty that come with a first time experience. We look forward to recording many more sets and see what this collaboration will grow into, we hope you enjoy it as much as we did

Der Jeden Tag ein Set Podcast im Juli kommt diesmal vom Berliner Duo Prismode & Solvane. Die beiden Berliner sind eng verbunden mit dem Ritter Butzke, denn Prismode ist unter anderem für die Programmgestaltung des Clubs verantwortlich und Solvane hostet die wöchentliche Ausgabe von Radio Butzke auf Fritz. Neben ihren Soloprojekten finden sie zudem auch noch die Zeit gemeinsame im Studio an neuen Tracks und Remixen zu basteln. Zuletzt veröffentlichten sie mit „Octupus“ einen wirklichen Leckerbissen auf Stil vor Talent, der sich auch, neben Tracks von Acts wie Patrice Baumel, Nicone, Tale Of Us oder Roumex, in ihrem neuen Jeden Tag ein Set Podcast versteckt.
