Meltdown is an electronic music DJ-collective and label from Helsinki, Finland. Established in 1993 in Vaasa.

The X-Rust Organization is a non-profit organization concentrating on keeping electronic music and the culture around it alive and kicking in Finland through activities such as organizing events, participating in larger events and festivals, offering information and equipment as well as releasing music. Our activities are mostly based in Turku, Finland.

OLLI [KOPONEN] is a DJ from Helsinki, Finland, known for his eclectic taste in music, which is reflected in his dynamic DJing style.
Born in Cambridge, UK, Olli spent his early childhood traveling the world. His passion for music began at a young age, fueled by hours spent watching music videos on MTV and VIVA. Later, he found inspiration in the soundtracks of skateboarding movies, which eventually led him to explore the world of dance music.

At 17, Olli started DJing after taking a DJ course at a community center in Helsinki. By 18, he was regularly attending nightclubs as a dancer, and soon his passion evolved into a career. He began organizing parties at venues in downtown Helsinki, quickly earning opportunities to perform regularly at clubs and festivals.

Olli's versatility as a DJ is one of his trademarks. He can seamlessly craft sets spanning genres like soul, disco, funk, and Italo, as well as ambient, house, electro, and techno.

Over the years, he has performed at numerous gigs across Finland and internationally. He also consistently releases mixtapes and has been featured on several radio shows. 

In 2021, Olli co-founded the record shop OK Sound Helsinki with Kris Goodin, where he also worked. Today, he focuses on music production as part of General Electrix, a duo with Santtu XL. Their second release is due autumn 2025.
