Featuring the spoken tones of legendary house vocalist Robert Owens. “It ain’t over,” he tells us, “until Bertha calls you into the kitchen, for some of her delicious pancakes.” We have no idea what he’s on about either, but with a groove this good, who needs anything to make sense? Landau and Bido first connected through social media, after years of playing at the same clubs. 
In early 2025, both were inspired by the new wave of bass-driven, groovy sounds and decided it was the perfect time to collaborate. 
Within a single studio session, the track I Just Like You came to life, with catchy vocal chops, a rolling bassline, and a groove that naturally blended both of their styles. Soon after, the track gained early support from artists like Solomun, AYYBO, and Elif, and that’s when we knew it had to be released. 
As Lee Foss gave great feedback, everything just fell into place.
