Convergence 27 - Aug 8 2025 (Electro-Industrial, EBM Techno, Midtempo)

My latest Electro track entitled 'Polyandrium'. The word is derived from the Greek words 'poly' (many) and 'andrion' (men). Commonly it is used to describe a cemetery. This is an older sketch of mine from almost 10 years ago that I decided to actually develop into something more than a sketch. MPC triggers Syntakt, Prophet Rev2, OB6, Peak, Hydrasynth, Minilogue, SE02, JU06, JX08, MicroFreak, and TR8S. The Microcosm is in the mix somewhere but you can barely hear it. Aztronouth (also known as Oortfunk) is an electronic music artist and DJ from the Netherlands, active for more than 20 years. He is the founder of Mechanism, a long-running Amsterdam event series dedicated to Detroit techno and electro.

As Aztronouth, he produces futuristic electro and techno, while under his alias Oortfunk he explores downtempo synth-funk and experimental sounds. His music reflects strong influences from hip-hop, disco, Detroit techno, and hi-tek soul, blending them into a distinctive style.

He is part of Waveform Syndicate [LIVE] (with Luus and Machinefunk) and has released music on respected labels such as CyberDomain, Boomstraat1818, Connectome Records, Abstract Rhythm, and Space Is The Place. Notable releases include the Aztroverse EP (CyberDomain, 2025) and Durgan’s Odyssey (Boomstraat1818).

Új Bála returns to Dalmata Daniel with DDE10, his third solo release on the label and his first since 2019. In the meantime, he has appeared on compilations and performed frequently at the label’s events before relocating to Brussels, where he has been based for several years. This new EP bridges the past and present of his sound: half of the tracks were written in Budapest in 2018, the other half in Brussels in 2024.

The four pieces form a skewed narrative of fractured club music, from the bubbling, spooky, melodic fragments of Kalt Kult, through the bizarre, schizophrenic interlude of Episode, to the sharp, minimalist leftfield techno of Chaton Rouge, and closing with the broken structures of Titok, which resonate most closely with his current style.

As with every entry in the DDE series, this 10th episode comes in a highly limited edition 8" lathe-cut vinyl (25 copies only) with risograph-printed artwork designed by Daniel Jani (Studio Jetski) and printed by BPZines.

Its sermons weren't just songs; they were divine pronouncements, revelations broadcast directly into the souls of its followers.
When pdqb "speaks," the world vibrates. Intricate sonic tapestries, woven from raw electricity and pure emotion. Hands, if they could be called hands, that dance across controls that seem to manipulate the very fabric of reality.

Synaptic Cliffs and the Missechusatts Institute of Elecronicity proudly present the latest peer-reviewed sermons of pdqb as well as the associated validation studies from the Dopplereffekt-Institut für Retroaktive Zukunftsforschung, located in section 334 of the Mariana Trench. The contributions to the data carrier presented here are characterized by the following features:
