Blind Delon is one of those bands that you think have been active all their lives, only to be surprised when you realise that they were founded only a few years ago, in 2016. Surely this mirage is due to the hyperactivity of its founder Mathis Kolkoz, who, in addition to commanding this band, also works in parallel on numerous musical projects, both solo and as part of a number of groups, each with their own style. We must also add his work as an engineer at the head of the mixing and mastering studio Kolhoz Mastering. 

Blind Delon, currently formed by Mathis Kolkoz, Coco Thiburs and Thom Mayor, has managed to establish itself as one of the bands that currently best represents the dark sound of EBM and post-punk, and demonstrates it with versatility and ingenuity, as we can see with La Métamorphose, the new album by this French group signed to the Italian label Veyl. La Métamorphose also features collaborations with Fivequestionmarks, Curses, Maenad Veyl, The KVB and Poison Point.

Fueled by cold bass lines and synthesizers of yesteryear, French post-punk and black romanticism, Blind Delon shatters genres and styles to create an evolved strain of synthpunk that wears its influences proudly while mutating into something totally new. La Métamorphose represents a fresh direction - a heavy, post-metal sound that’s full of emotion and raw intensity. 'Le Crépuscule' opens the album with a hard hitting piece that commences the experience perfectly. Next up, the group kicks things into high gear with the speedy, heavy-synth play of 'La Violence' featuring vocals by Fivequestionmarks, followed by 'La Mort', a blackened post-punk cut featuring the one and only Curses.

Label head Maenad Veyl makes a guest appearance on the fourth track, 'L’Homme', which drifts into deep experimental melancholy with a cinematic feel. Keeping with this mood is the powerful 'L’Affront' featuring The KVB, which descends further into darkness before resurrecting with the immense feelings of 'Le Sarcasme'. Track seven, 'La Noyade', drills into the skull with growling vocals and menacing synths which bleed nicely into 'La Foule', slowing things back down with a subtle yet lingering sense of dread. French project Poison Point arrive on 'L’Envie' which moves guitars back to the forefront for a raucous ballad that sets up the final piece and title track, 'La Métamorphose', the glorious grand finale of an album teeming with emotion and begging to be played again and again.

This is a soundtrack to imaginary nightime streetscapes in a world that resembles our own.
Crumbling asphalt slick with oil and grease reflects the woozy glow of late night bodegas in acrid pink, yellow and green.
Drakkar Noir is a feceless figure who inhabits this world, an alias shamelessly lifted from a sleazy and long out-of-fashion scent, a brand name derived from a mashup of mythical pretensions and hollow advertising jargon. Part Human and part digital fiction, Drakkar Noir is, like the city itself, a shapeshifter who feeds and is fed by the collective dreams and nightmares floating above the buildings and into smoke-filled skies.

"Usually going under the moniker Mule Driver, Harel Schrieber has dedicated a great deal of his life's work to studying and exploring the wonders of the Roland TR-808 drum machine, celebrating its' rhythms to a large extent and since 2011 releasing exclusive material for the annual 808 day, which occurs every August 8th.
For the upcoming 808 "birthday", he'll deliver his gift, literally, as Max Schrieber - His alter ego for experimental and drone oriented works and therefore utilize and treat the 808 differently; zero beats whatsoever. Instead, late seventies Brian Eno inspired ambient soundscapes and atmosphere."

The duo based in Stockholm, Martin Thomasson and Johan Skugge, boast an extensive production background dating back to the early 2000s. Their choice of the name "Harlem" was inspired by a song with the same title by Suicide, their beloved band. The track "Lundin Oilers" embodies an industrial and minimal wave vibe with a dub infusion. 

Sonorous Underground Presents: State of Uprising III is the culmination of a movement born from the state's abuse of the Colombian people in 2021. This final instalment unites artists worldwide, using music to condemn all forms of oppression.

Camilo Uribe, a native of Medellín, a Musical Informatician influenced by the sounds of wave, new beat, techno, electro and Italo disco that little by little took over the capital of Antioquia, began his project UNDISCLOSED 1122 in 2017 to resound with these sounds on the dance floors. ; Parallel to his dj/producer project, Camilo and several friends promoted Unknown Medellín, a collective that emphasized the industrial/retro scene, presenting memorable nights with artists such as: Parrish Smith, Johannes Volk, Justin Long, Schwefelgelb and recently Broken English Club and Rodney.

T.D.D. stands for Test-Driven Development, a software development process relying on software requirements being converted to test cases before the software is fully developed and tracking all software development by repeatedly testing the software against all test cases.

It also stands for The Dancing Devil, a Colombian DJ and producer based in Medellín focused on turning aesthetic and raw music into a dance cult.

The latter is the one that matters here: After bringing his ritual to temples such as Ravetop, Analogue Texture, HomeMort, NEA$, and Soil Records, T.D.D. lands on his neighbourhood label Sonidos Subterraneos as part of the third & last volume of “Estado De Golpe”, a VA series born to draw attention to the abuse of the Colombian people by their own government.

Besides T.D.D., Tassilo Vanhöfen, Harlem Electronics, Stas Zavyalov, Mule Driver, Bound By Endogamy, Jack Carel, First Aid Tech, King Rambo Sound, Anatolian Weapons, Undisclosed 1122, Monotonegative, among others, joined the cause.

Premiered here, “Circular Sur 303” is an angry and aggressive theme filled with ominous synth stabs and a ferocious acid layer, resulting in a stunning Industrial-meets-EBM-meets-Dark-Techno cut devoted to making any corrupt scumbag remember THE TRUE POWER BELONGS TO THE FUCKING PEOPLE!
