Mascarpone is an electronic music project created in 2018 by Hugo Bussiere. From EBM, Detroit techno and industrial music, Mascarpone is evolving at the crossroad of several genres. His music is mainly composed of analog sounds which are characterized by robotics, colds and mechanicals sounds, sometimes close to Dopplereffekt or The Hacker, in order to create his own dark and personal version of electro.

And on we go with Podcast Number 34 by Yuega from Bologna, Italy.

Since a few years now he's releasing tapes of his own productions and you can find him on Sonidos Subterraneos's latest Edition of Estado De Golpe. Strongly influenced by the spirit and sounds of the 80's Yuega is brooding his own style of proto-ebm, industrial beats from analogue machines and synthwave bonds.

All of of this is also reflected in his mix for us. Drum machines, repetitive synthlines, ghostly vocals and some acid at the end. No Future.

We are excited to introduce the fifth solo album on our platform by Lithuanian producer @Shaknis, titled Neturi Vietos. Shaknis is a highly talented producer, mixing and mastering nerd, analog gear collector, Eurorack synth builder, and all-around genuine lad. His new album showcases a blend of pure electro with elements of breakbeat. Be sure to grab a cassette, and inside the J-card, you’ll find a picture of the synths he used to create this album. The release date is set for September 20th, available on both tape and digital formats.

A statement? Or self-reflection? Energetic moments of introspection, reflecting inability to fit in to a predefined reality. Shaknis (:/root) comes from a realm where genres blur and expectations dissolve, refusing to conform to any single style or category.
