Continuing what has been a strong first year, Ruben Karapetyan’s RKP imprint welcomes Yonsh to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Russia, Vladimir Demchenko aka Yonsh has been a fixture of the progressive house community for the better part of three years. On the strength of early tracks such as ‘Arange’ and ‘Sheld’, Yonsh was tipped as a newcomer to watch. Fast forward a short two years and the Moscow resident now lays claim to an impressive resume with releases via Mango Alley, Sound Avenue and The Soundgarden, while genre tastemakers Cid Inc, Emi Galvan, Ruben Karapetyan, Nicolas Rada and Nick Warren have chimed in with support along the way. Now, continuing on an upwards trajectory as 2023 winds to a close, Yonsh adds RKP to his resume with a two-track showcase entitled ‘Rounding’. 

The title selection 'Rounding’ finds Yonsh operating at his creative peak with a production rich in character and groove. Creating a confident energy from the outset, its rhythmic drive is anchored by chunky basslines, metallic fragments and growling synths, tastefully building to a wild-eyed intensity of glowing pads and flashing percussive arrangements. With a breakdown that exudes spirit, Yonsh pulls from his expansive repertoire, infusing shimmering synths with orbiting effects for the perfect prelude to a powerful drop and chunky grooved-out finale. 

The release concludes with ‘Connect’ which further cements the EP's dancefloor minded ethos. Here, Yonsh's meticulous design and dreamlike elegance conjures up utopian visions, as cutting edge sonics and rolling rhythmic structures layer a bed of pulsating beats and swaying percussion. Ethereal melodies highlight the main break, bringing with them emotion, mystery and intrigue, further revealing the Russian's creative attitude, before a finale of devilish stabs and timely overlays provide a textural rain of melodic colour to round out the EP in style.

May the new year bring you fresh melodies, unexpected harmonies, and moments that make your soul sing. I’m your host and the dj for the first part of the show, Juan Pablo Torrez. In the last part we welcome Kostya Outta with a pretty nice guest mix that includes a remix he did for CHRSTPHR’s ‘Anomaly’ which is out now via our beloved label on Beatport, Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube. 

Born and raised in Belarus but now based in Poland, Kostya Outta first emerged just over a decade ago. On the success of early tracks such as 'High Flyers' and 'Silence', Kostya's groovy melodic sound was born, making him a new breed of progressive house producers to watch going forward. World class DJs as Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, among others, have been steadfast supporters along the way. Now, following an impressive debut for Cid Inc's Replug Records, Kostya adds Clubsonica to his resume with a huge rendition of 'Anomaly'.

Sherry aka goodkidd brought up in the streets of Peshawar(PK) is a young boy who has been an avid listener of music since he was 13. His music choice was always different from his age fellows. He started DJing at the age of 17 as a laptop and mobile Dj for his friends. Listening and djing to multiple genres, he ended up listening to Underground Music. Gaining popularity from the believers and followers of Electronic Music,he, at the age of 22,  last year formed his own event management/Podcast Show known as Sincity Deep Tech Station, which started as a private couple rave in the small town and then premiered their first grand show on the independence night of 2022 bringing a pure EDM culture for the first in the city of flowers.Moreover, this mad city boy brought the culture of private raves in his hometown.
Currently he is working on the production of underground music. He believes that music is a rehabilitation for shattered souls which never heals but one enjoys the curing process.He is known for always bringing unreleased and new music to the dance floor and his sets; and, has gained support from big names and labels in the music industry.
Not only SINCITY is a big name now in the underground music, but also it is  officially a record label registered with proton in 2024.

Tash's Movement Limited opens the summer season by welcoming Shayan Pasha to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Iran, Shayan Pasha first emerged as a DJ in 2010 where he quickly became a fixture of his country's nightlife, performing alongside some of the world's top progressive house talents. A production career would follow shortly thereafter, where early releases via Area Verde, Massive Harmony Records and his own Wander Nation imprint would establish Shayan as a name to watch. 2023 proved to be Shayan's most prolific and successful year to date, notching key projects for Droid9, MNL and Transensations, while also receiving play from progressive house icon Hernan Cattaneo on multiple occasions. Also finding a home on parent label Movement Recordings earlier this year with a contribution to the ‘Technical Progress, Vol. 14' collection, Shayan now adds Movement Limited to his resume with a two-track showcase ‘Leaves on the Wall'.

‘Leaves on the Wall' gets the release underway and sits as one of Shayan's most engaging productions to date. Plush kick drums and smooth contoured grooves set the foundation for a narrative of organic percussive arrangements and playful melodies. Pushing a daytime mood into the break; Shayan marries heartfelt themes with trailing sonics and charming overlays to great effect, building anticipation and emotion with each successive pass, as a sharp build eventually gives way to a thumping drop and grooved-out finale.

The companion piece 'Dancing With Wolves' acts as a perfect complement with its whimsical yet highly emotive sound. Looking to bring even stronger musicality to his portfolio, Shayan flexes his melody crafting prowess once again, with a playful top line adding youthful exuberance to a sturdy club-effective groove. The main break proves to be the highlight however, flowing through timely modulation and drum flurries, expertly intertwined for maximum emotional response, before tight beats and hazy musical co-actions unite for a gorgeous finale that's sure to be a hit on all the daytime dancefloors out there.

Burning Light

Stil & Bense return to the label with 'Cheat Codes'. Their last outing back in March of this year was received to high acclaim - with big support from the likes of Djuma Sound System, Eelke Kleijn AFFKT, Animal Trainer, Gai Barone, Marc DePulse and many more at the time. With their long-awaited return to ICONYC, the duo delivers a slice of summer vibes titled 'Cheat Codes'. The original track kicks things off nicely with its melancholic moodiness shining through as we meander effortlessly through club inspired melodies, while the sultry chords sit wonderfully on top adding an extra layer of depth.

Melody Stranger, who needs no introduction created a rework full of tension from the word go, as the atmospheric vibe subtly keeps you moving with warm tinkling sounds, a smooth edge and some nicely effected sounding pieces. We basically have the formula for a bit of a monumental outing. The sparseness is the key here, as this restrained gem works its magic while it plays away, creating a warm glow, creating an air of sophistication. "Essential stuff!"

Next up are Two Sins who mark their debut on the label with 2 remixes, the Russian duo known for their melodic techno influenced sound, keep the ethereal theme of the original alive, as the pulsating bass powers along, before its drum fills and general warmth all combine to do the talking. Like something from yesteryear, yet sounding fresh and exciting. Lovely rework from Two Sins. 

The duo's dub version is a stripped back affair and takes the energy levels up a notch, but increases the melancholy with stripped back and lucid elements at the same time, before the luscious pads grace the rework changing the vibe and creating a blanket of warmth that wraps around the effected groove. It's all about the groove, cool house vibes and the driving beats that are working their magic around Plus Thirty's wonderfully arranged keys that create an irresistible rhythm while clever chords take the mind on a trip. 

With 'Cheat Codes' Stil & Bense really show that there're no boundaries, as this beautiful melodic gem guides you to a full-on club laden, melodic hug of a release that will cause many smile induced moments! 'Cheat Codes' sees a worldwide release on August 5th, 2019 via every well-known digital content provider. Not to be missed.

Rafael Cerato is back on Manual Music after the massively successful 'Warriors' collaboration single with NekliFF which also included the chart topping 'Marrakesh' track. This time the Ritual label boss operates solo and delights us with two fresh cuts; 'Monalisa' and 'Skyline'.

'Monalisa' is a raw and intense but at the same time funky and infectious late night dance floor mover. Proper peak time material here by the South American DJ and producer.

Skyline sees Australian singer Haptic showcase his emotional and almost eerie vocal contribution on top of Rafael's arpy rolling background. Intense and catchy!

'Yoshitoshi Celebrates 25 Years with Three Genre-Focused Compilations : House, Techno, Melodic House.

For the Melodic House edition of Yoshitoshi 25, we’ve focused on the tracks that were either too proggy for house or too melodic for techno. Many house historians would claim that this sound has been Yoshitoshi’s bread and butter throughout the years, and this final entry into the Yoshitoshi 25 compilation series demonstrates exactly why. As with the other two compilations, we’ve selected a handful of freshly remastered, stone-cold classics such as PQM’s “You Are Sleeping (Luke Chable Mix),” Valentino’s “Flying,” and Morel’s “True (The F****t Is You - Deep Dish Remix),” and mixed them up with the most memorable modern records from Yoshitoshi’s catalogue like OC & Verde’s “Indica,” Khainz’s “Collider,” and Red Axes’ remix of Dino Lenny’s “I Feel Stereo.” Of course the package wouldn’t be complete without some new remixes, so Sharam and Armonica have delivered some beautifully-crafted reworks of Yoshitoshi classics. Sharam takes on Luzon’s mega-classic “The Baguio Track,” turning the tune into a dark roller that has been the talk of his recent Burning Man sets. Armonica crafted an amazing remix of Anarcrusan’s “In My Mind” that winds gracefully between delicate, dreamy riffs and bouncy, bass-driven breakdowns. The final package is a perfect way to end the Yoshitoshi 25 series, giving both new listeners and longtime fans of the label an expansive view of the label’s legacy. Marzo es un buen mes para bucear entre recopilatorios, entre los que los publican motivados por la Winter Music Conference y los que no. Pero la premiere que traemos entre manos hoy, es espacial y especial.

'Global Entry' lleva su nombre, entre otras cosas, por la diversidad de nacionalidades de los productores incluidos: Alemania, Argentina, Italia, Reino Unido, España, Rusia, Marruecos, Francia e Israel, cada uno con una personalidad propia.

11 tracks, seleccionados con más cariño que las frutas en los anuncios de la televisión por el sello Sol Selectas.

Y se nota cuando escuchas la calidad de los tracks incluidos, que van desde el tribal house, pasando por algún corte de carácter más disco o incluso Deep house melódico como este que el sello nos ha permitido presentaros como premiere del lanzamiento.

Anthony Middleton (el 50% de Audiofly), nos introduce al recopilatorio por medio de 'Energy Is Currency'. Una melodía, muy en su estilo, con pads épicos y una buena base.
