ABOUT THE ARTIST:

The sound designer, music producer and multi-instrumentalist, Sérgio Walgood, is a well known name in the worldwide chillout music scene Music producer and DJ with 15 self releases and tracks on many compilations around the globe.

Walgood currently develops projects that involve chillout, techno and psytrance music. He is one of the magicians behind the band OCO and also runs the projects Random Mode, Angular Momentum and coordinates the acclaimed Chillout Stage of the ZNA Gathering Festival.

Microcosmos Records is happy to announce O, the album by Amritone.

Amritone is a chillout project created by Alexander Zhikharev, an experienced electronic music artist also known for his other projects: Parallax Breakz, Para-Dise, Tandavibe, Infuzoria, IBS Faction, Sunsound Space. In his work, Alexander experiments in various psychedelic music genres such as psychill, psybass, dubstep, progressive breaks, ambient.

O is the sixth album by Amritone. It is a splendid blend of electronic music styles, full of the author's bold experiments in rhythmic and harmonic forms, and yet it maintains crystal sound transparency. Psybass and drum-n-bass percussions and bass lines are skilfully woven into the sound textures of psychill and ambient. Each track of the album represents a story of its own. The author describes the concept of O as reflections about searching for the light in the emptiness of the reality, the disappearance of the ego and its rebirth in the divine form.

About J.P.illusion:

J.P.illusion was born in Athens, 1981. At a young age he discovered his passion for music but was not until early 2004 that he began his studies in music technology.

Soon afterwards he delves into a journey of experimenting with the electronic medium, performing as a DJ in many local events and he has since then worked with live recording, sound design and he has also composed music for film & documentaries.

Throughout the years, J.P.illusion has released many albums in the genres of Psychedelicdub, Dub, Psychill & World Ethnic Music. l with labels such as Yellow Sunshine Explosion, Mikelabella Records, Cosmicleaf Records, Harmonia records, Nutek Records, Maia Brasil Records - only to name a few - and his live appearances were seen all over mainland Greece, as well as many other countries in Festivals such as Shamballa Festival 2013 in Turkey & Shwayafest Festival 2017 in Israel.

En baroudant aux quatre coins de la France à la recherche du sens de la vie, Oli et ses petites oreilles rencontrèrent de nombreux et divers paysages sonores, qui lui apportèrent encore plus de questionnements métaphysiques. C'est pour chercher des réponses dans les états de conscience modifiée qu'est né, en 2023, le projet Métempsycose. La métempsycose désigne la transmigration de l'âme d'un corps à un autre afin qu'elle apprenne de ses multiples expériences. Ce projet est une invitation au voyage de l'âme dans tout ce qui compose la nature en animant les corps par des mix éclectiques.

While roaming across France in search of the meaning of life, Oli's little ears came across a plethora of diverse soundscapes, which raised even more metaphysical questions. It was to seek answers in states of altered consciousness that the Métempsycose project was born in 2023. Metempsychosis refers to the transmigration of the soul from one body to another, so that it can learn from its many experiences. This project is an invitation to the soul's journey through all that makes up nature, animating bodies with eclectic mixes.
