They say no one truly knows who Qwake is, and that’s exactly how he likes it. Masked and mysterious, this long-standing Bass Militia soldier has been wreaking havoc on the frontlines for over five years, evolving his arsenal from razor-edged neurofunk to devastating neuro breaks. His latest strike, Mistaken Identity, blurs the lines between both worlds with a tactical assault of groove-heavy breakbeats, snarling bass mutations, and mechanical precision. One thing’s for sure: behind the mask lies a mind engineered for chaos.

But Qwake’s not storming this battlefield alone.

On remix duty, we’ve deployed an all-star squadron of sonic destroyers ready to twist Mistaken Identity into new forms of weaponised bass.

We call in a new recruit with serious firepower, TRANSFORMA. A sonic architect known for pushing the limits of neurofunk and tech-driven DnB, Transforma’s remix is pure precision warfare. Merging metallic aggression, cinematic soundscapes, and masterful sound design, he reshapes Mistaken Identity into a high-velocity DnB onslaught. This is transformation through sound, and it’s as lethal as it gets.

This isn’t just an EP.
This is a full-scale identity crisis on the battlefield of bass.

New chapter begins with another transmission that found its way to our beacon and as translated we realised Codex coorporation used advanced experimental techniques to launch a quantum matter projectile to 7th Circle which should shatter Dark Star's defences.
Right before projectile reached Delta vector, their magnetic field scanner reported incoming Horde attack.
Clock is ticking while mankind is closer to its extinction and its up to Metnem to find a solution in these extreme conditions.

KINETIK' A great introduction to Juno’s unique style. This track starts off with cinematic percussion and sinister atmospheres. Once the scene is set the track seems to endlessly pitch up and elements of the bass creep in. Let’s travel back in time to 2007; who remembers Phace’s breakthrough and rebellious debut album PSYCHO released on the former norwegian Subtitles imprint?

Well, we do, and we managed to license the whole LP plus more Phace back-catalogue music from that era for a digital re-release on Phace & Misanthrop's own sub-label Neodigital Recordings!

If ever an album typified the season it was released in ["Album of the Month" in UK’s Mixmag Magazine in 2007], it’s this debut long player. Brought up on a diet of late-90s tech-step, ‘Psycho’ simply sounds frenetic, furious, punk and dirty.

We re-release this music in a deluxe pack, including further classic Phace singles such as “Brainwave, “Hot Rock”, “NOW!”, “Thrillseeker (with Noisia)” and many more. The pack includes a total of 28 tracks and is a true vintage journey through Phace’s early days :]

"The Phoenix"
The first of our 2 tracks is brand spanking hot, out of the Traced studio.

Something a little different than what you would expect, which is exactly why we love his sound so much. 

Huge trance sounds and uplifting riffs carry the intro of this track all the way from the start of the track and beyond and make no mistake It is not what you would expect from him as a  very floaty Liquid roller but with the Traced trademark snap you have all become accustomed too.

This track has huge amounts of inspiration we feel from the likes of Camo & Krooked and John B, who respectively are at the top of the heap in their defining sub genre’s.

A huge personal project for Traced which in his own words was a track written by him to help him through a trying period proving how music is a great healer and this no doubt will definitely bring in all kinds of emotion when either listening or playing to a packed out rave.

Strong words considering Traced's back catalogue of work, but we are sure after listening to this you will no doubt get why this was said.

This track has taken many forms over the past year and even from day one (despite sounding quite different now) has smashed dancefloors worldwide in sets.

The final version settled on has epic written all over it, 

The "Go with the flow" vocal, added in only recently before being sent out to promo to the DJ circuit, gives it exactly what it needs to stand out from the crowd.

This EP is by far the biggest of the year for us and a great way to close out 2020 as the first of the final 2 of the year
