Flat Earth records is happy to present Tancred’s debut EP ‘Cyber Katana’ :

In the unremitting flux of our digital world, the world craves a sense of harmony. 

Cyber Katana EP is an ode to that quest, exploring the interconnection between technology and humans. 

Drawing inspiration from Japanese culture and the discipline of martial arts, Tancred imagined synths as a way to realize oneself and as instruments of social connection. In doing so, he’s celebrating technology not as a simple tool but as a catalyst for human creation and emotional connectivity.

With his hardware, Tancred forged the first track ‘Cyber Katana’ as an emotional club banger, where the gritty roaring bass can effortlessly shake an entire room. He then draws his influence from Detroit’s electro with Social Beatwork and Robot’s kiss. Finally NMSS delivers a cutting edge Bass remix of the first track, perfect for the dancefloor.

During This techno-optimist body of music, Tancred leads us to the question are we really using the synths or are them using us ?
