This latest EP is an exploration of tension, with the distinctive hypnotic pulses that are so characteristic of Soto.

With a meticulous blend of deep, rolling basslines and unsettling, high-pressure pad textures, Soto orchestrates an environment where time distorts and the senses unravel. The EP's sound design is razor-sharp, each element precisely crafted to immerse the listener in a state of heightened awareness—dark, brooding, and unrelenting.

Elisa Batti steps in with a remix that tightens the grip, amplifying the tension while injecting more rawness into one of Soto’s tracks. Cari Lekebusch, Alexander Johansson & Mattias Fridell converge their creative energies for the first time on the “Tant Grön, Tant Brun & Tant Gredelin EP”. This collaboration is a masterstroke, uniting three of Sweden’s most innovative techno artisans.

Cari Lekebusch, a stalwart of the Swedish techno scene, has been a relentless force since the early ‘90s, continually redefining the genre’s boundaries. His pioneering spirit has paved the way for countless artists and set a high standard for techno production.

Alexander Johansson and Mattias Fridell have cultivated a dynamic partnership, consistently delivering tracks that resonate with depth and precision. Their recent work, such as the “Ångvält EP” on H-Productions, exemplifies their commitment to crafting immersive techno experiences.

The “Tant Grön, Tant Brun & Tant Gredelin EP” stands as a testament to their collective prowess, offering a quartet of tracks that embody the essence of pure techno. Techno innovator Regent has already made his mark on Mutual Rytm with two previous outings highlighting his
refined but powerful style. The Berlin-based artist joins the dots between bold percussive grooves and distinct
cerebral layers, with his productions continuing to receive wide support from DJs and tastemakers across the globe.
This return to SHDW’s flourishing label features one of his most anticipated tracks to date – a truly timeless

We begin with ‘Conjuro’, an ambient prelude that unfolds like a slow incantation, where textures appear like ghosts. Tactile, yet distant. ‘Do You’ follows with a stripped-back and minimal groove, marked by coiling, metallic details, and a tight rhythmic skeleton. The heart of the EP, ‘Forest Ritual’, begins with a lullaby-like chant—sweet, inviting, almost sacred. Slowly, a distorted bassline surfaces, introducing tension without breaking the spell—a moment of contrast where softness meets weight. With ‘In the Shadows’, BLANKA steps fully into dancefloor mode. Lean and bleepy, it delivers functionality while retaining a sense of depth. ‘Somebody’ shifts the energy into a sunlit morning, built around a yearning vocal: “I just need somebody”—one for the deep hours. That warmth continues into ‘Texting to You’, a groove-centric meditation with a gentle, organic flow. And finally, Why Are You Here closes the album with a whispered question, dreamy and slow-burning.

With Forest Rituals, BLANKA bridges club functionality and emotional depth—an experience that unfolds as intimately as it moves.
