Luciano has been part of the same beautiful family of House Music pioneers as Freaks and MFF over the last few decades; frequently crossing musical paths. His hugely successful releases on his own Cadenza Records will have undoubtedly played alongside ours in countless different sets at parties and venues across the world. So when he first approached us with this new project by Chilean soulmates, Washingstone & Lata (aka Wata) and featuring vocals from the powerhouse that is Jorge Gonzalez, leader, vocalist and bassist of the progressive and hugely revered, Los Prisioneros, telling us that it was a distinctively different kind of record and in need of a good home; we were very excited to have a listen and immediately knew it was the perfect fit for MFF. 

Originally released as a 12” in Chile, Señora Tiene Té by WATA is a lush piece of electronic funk which places you deep in the streets of Santiago, in the summer heat when the people are out of the villas or the ghettos and all that can be heard are voices shouting to their neighbours to ask if there's anything they need – Senora would you like a tea – one cup?

There's no doubt the original and album mixes stand up proudly on their own and fit beautifully within MFF's offbeat musical remit but add to that an absolutely astounding remix from Luciano himself AND a completely original but totally excellent new electronic remix from the mysterious Fiat 600 and you have one very special Music For Freaks release.

Toy Tonics Jam Hits is a new format where Toy Tonics puts together some of the most successful tracks played at the Toy Tonics Jam parties. These parties are taking place every weekend around Europe, in some of the best clubs and at Toy Tonics regular jam places like Panorama Bar Berlin, Phonox London or Alacazar in Rome. Toy Tonics is doing these parties 2-4 times every weekend. It's a big thing now. 

This second part features COEO with their evergreen song „Native Riddim“. This song is almost a club classic. Played by everybody from Moodymann to Gerd Janon, Peggy Gou to Dan Shake. The extended version has 8 million plays on Spotify already.

A long time ago them Freaks (Luke Solomon & Justin Harris) built a bridge with Chicago. It was a long Freaky bridge that absorbed a whole community of misfits. They joined forces and built a fort under the banner of Music for Freaks.
The fort was built to protect them from the normals - but also a place to build an army of associated miscreants that would slowly begin their attack on the offending world of bland dance music. The army grew and Freaks took to the road ....
