For the 18th mix in our series, we are super hyped to host, one of the greatest young talents out there: Laima Adelaide. She is a Latvian producer and composer based in Stuttgart. She studies classical composition and besides her interests in contemporary classical music she derives inspiration from nature. In her music, she experiments textures and atmospheres, searching for a borderline between monotony and hypnotic rhythms and melodies. After her djset at Melantónia's first open air in collaboration with Rooms of Kairos in Berlin last summer, the Berlin based DJ/producer and founder of @emikaelenahml contributes to the project with this meditative and regenerative mix.
Music has always been a huge part of Emika Elena's life, ever since she started playing piano in her family home at the age of 4, but it was the discovery of techno in her early teens that led her to become a DJ.
Her trademark sound is often described as "hypnotic darkness" which intersects expressions of ambient, experimental, and techno in her mixes.
She is breaking out of standards and creating a new feeling of deepness and true creativity. You can hear her authenticity carrying you to the spheres of your inner soul.

"An invitation to Relax"

For our fourth podcast we welcome Adhémar. A very talented French artist whose work you'll have heard on Oslated and Aarden records.

Please read his note :) 

"This recording is an invitation to relax  and relieve any tensions. 
You can follow the instructions below. 
Stay in Shavasana for as long as you want - let go !
Lie flat on the back with the arms about 15 cm away from the body, palms facing upward.
A thin pillow or folded cloth may be placed behind the head to prevent discomfort. A rolled up blanket can be placed under the knees, heels still touching the ground, to relieve low back tension. 
Let the fingers curl up slightly.
Move the feet slightly apart to a comfortable position and close the eyes.
The head and spine should be in a straight line.
Make sure the head does not fall to one side or the other.
Relax the whole body and stop all physical movement. 
Become aware of the natural breath and allow it to become rhythmic and relaxed".
