Following up on his terrific debut EP with us last year, we’re pleased to bring Tijn Driessen’s second EP “Reliëf”. A 5 track hike through wild rivers, steep mountains and narrow paths, delicately intertwined with subtle grooves. The EP draws inspiration from the versatility of the French Alps. The rough, mysterious and ecstatic characteristics translate to each individual track, while still maintaining his signature sound of blending piano with dance floor appropriate grooves.

Aun recuerdo que teniendo tal vez como 5 o 6, miraba por la ventana del auto en movimiento, regresando a casa, después de estar en la de la abuela, con la mano un poco de fuera, mi mirada enfocada, la mano sobre el cristal y lo que estaba detrás desenfocado, paredes grises que al pasar por el punto de fuga en movimiento, se convertían en verdes campos, con flores de colores y muchos árboles de diferentes tamaños, quedando impresos en la realidad, detrás del pasar del auto. 
Hola, desde que soy un niño mi Padre me llamó Negro mi Madre me sigue llamando Black y quizá de ahi yo use la K. Más una Kalpoli de colores salió por mi espiral, subiendo como la Kundalini,  un trabajo, no, un sueño o quizá algo más. Uno mismo escribe su destino, con el pensamiento se crea realidad, pero es el amor en el Yólotl lo que hace este milagro funcionar de forma multidimensional. Hace muchos años en un terreno baldío cuando viví como un libre "home less" una visión se manifestó y esta fue la oración, en esta tierra se trabajó un sueño y estos árboles son testigos por los siglos de los siglos. Historias después inquieto por la curiosidad, llegué al tecolote y ahí encontré al jefe del desierto, al mejor de todos los hombres que he conocido hasta este día. El toca la armónica y sus melodías viejas me guiaron por ese valle seco, pero abundante de vida espiritual, el ha sido mi guardián y en sus jardines, hasta arriba de la loma que él, llamó las mujeres, yo solté una especie de hechizo, yo no lo creé, de mi solo salió y ese otro rezo dijo, que desde ese punto hacia las 4 direcciones, el cambio será transmitido, señalándolos, llevando una Katana de madera en la mano tallada con letras japonesas... que aun no entiendo que representan. 
Más deben tener mucho cuidado de querer encontrar al venado azul, porque lo resguardan demonios rojos que rondan por todo el paraíso. Ellos protegen al venado por lo que al final son pocos los que pueden ver al diablo. Dicen que Jesus estuvo en el desierto, creo que por eso fui llamado Negro, pero mas enchilo de lo que me en diablo. Un Huáxichil soy, porque me enseñó bien mi viejo del desierto como los Mapuche que están del otro lado y de nuestro lado. Porque gracias a la ayuda de la fuerza de mi Padre Fernando y la sensibilidad de mi Rebeca Madre, fui capaz de no ser el abogado del diablo.
Mi abuelita Adelita era güerita, mujer que nunca me juzgo y siempre en mis fechorías me aconsejo, por eso les digo a toda las Adelas que van a la revolución, que llamen a sus brujas, hechiceras, alquimistas, sanadoras, tejedoras, voladoras, científicas y que sean honestas todas ellas, para que puedan seguir a las que comparten su propia radio transmisión, las que crean música y tocan en vivo de corazón. Hay algo en tus ojos, que ese niño en hombre se convirtió, me parece que son verdes pero de eso hablaré en tu canción. Con el llamado de ese humano, guerrero, filósofo y artista. Los místicos, esotéricos, brujos, guardianes y danzantes, artistas y creadores, pensadores de todo los colores, estarán detrás respaldando a los hombres más sensibles y honorables, para que ellos aseguren, que todas las mujeres celebraran la vida en la nueva era, porque ya una vez quemada fue la naturaleza, persistencia de la ánima en la materia, sabiduría de las plantas y el poder de todos los animales que viven en el espíritu de este planeta, nuestra Madre tierra por los siglos de siglos. A glimmer of teleportation shimmered in the twilight. Queen of the Smorings was never late. Maeve are thrilled to welcome long time friend Kev Sheridan to the label for his debut release. Kev is one of the most talented musicians we know and its an honor for us to release his first work to the world. This project has been developing over the past few years and now we have a record we feel showcases the deep musicality and talent Kev has.

Although not sounding like a typical Maeve dance floor record, the A side entitled "Alone in Berlin" is a stunningly beautiful piece of music. Its measured melancholic flow creates a shared empathy between listener and composer.

"Wash Over Me" is the B1, and with it comes a change of pace moving into a broken beat rhythm but still maintaining the emotion of the A side. Haunting pads hang over clean staccato percussion creating an overall euphoric vibe.

"Losing Someone Is Never Easy" is the final track on the EP. This straight up house cut again shows Sheridans deep musicality using a wide range of instruments to weave a beautiful tapestry made for special dance floor moments.
