you can't trip over a knife. that wouldn't do anything. someone has to hold it for it to be of any use. tripping into* a knife makes more sense. but honestly tripping over shattered glass while barefoot is worse.

Abandonment and the end of a relationship are serious changes in a life. Here I deal with it and try to describe the suffering with some metaphors. Really sad.

Verlassen zu werden und das Ende einer Beziehung sind schwere Einschnitte in einem Leben. Hier gehe ich damit um und versuche mit einigen Methaphern das leid zu beschreiben. Echt traurig.


Night Shift

For all the overnight security and maintenance staff at Bishop's University that tolerated our unmerited presence in their practice rooms during the mid 80s.   And for the exceedingly considerate piano sales staff at Eaton's Department Store (Montreal) in the latter 80's that provided impromptu lessons and access to instruments for those of us who couldn't afford them.

Pour tout le personnel de sécurité et d'entretien de nuit de l'Université Bishop's qui a toléré notre présence imméritée dans leurs salles de pratique au milieu des années 80.  Et pour le personnel extrêmement prévenant des vendeurs de pianos du grand magasin Eaton (Montréal) dans les années 80, qui offrait des cours impromptus et un accès aux instruments à ceux d'entre nous qui n'en avaient pas les moyens.
