I am a Songwriter from North Carolina, playing piano and producing my own music, independently recording at recording studios in Nashville and New York. Music is my passion, but I also work full-time as a Software Test Engineer in the financial sector.

Nod Steady is my one man free-form music project.

I got into DJing in the early 90's, and soon after, began making music. As a composer, I've mostly worked with various forms of electronic music and hip-hop, but don't really care much about genre boundaries.

As a DJ, I've blended all kinds of music with the style and finesse of a classic hip-hop scratch DJ. I've done radio shows and radio mixes, as well as collaborating onstage as a turntablist together with musicians from various genres.

The name Nod Steady is partly inspired by the hip-hop classic "The Nod Factor" by Mad Skillz, and hints at beats with a nod factor.

Rafi Arkin is a song writer and musician based in London, England. Currently working on projects and collaborations with fellow song writers and artists around the world.

HZLB (DJ Hazel B) is one of the handful few of original female electronic music producers & DJ's from the 90’s. Previously releasing as ‘human’, HZLB is back, releasing on PHONO.
