Apani aka Apani B-Fly Emcee, often referred to as Apani B. is a revered hip hop artist, author, entrepreneur and activist from Hollis, Queens in NYC. She is a founding member of the hip hop super-group Polyrhythm Addicts, along with fellow members DJ Spinna, Mr. Complex, and Shabaam Sahdeeq. Apani emerged during the golden era of the 90's to be considered a pioneer of New York City’s underground hip hop scene.
Apani has a prolific catalog beginning in 1994 and still growing she has had the honor and distinction to work with some of the most revered names in hip hop music, including Da Beatminerz, DJ Spinna, Nujabes, Talib Kweli, Jean Grae, Pharoahe Monch and many, many more. She has made a reputation for herself as a lyrical powerhouse and possesses a worldwide fanbase as a result of her many international collaborative projects. Apani is frequently named as not only one of the best female emcees and most distinctive voices in hip-hop music to ever grace the microphone but also regarded as an elite writer by any standard.
 Apani has toured internationally and been embraced by a loyal and ever growing fanbase as new listeners discover and relate to her music. She is singularly set apart by her ability to use her vocals to confidently project a large presence throughout every performance with her agile delivery as well as inspire with socially conscious themes while managing to not forget to entertain the listener. Now although a busy and dedicated mom of 3 beautiful and talented children, Apani continues to remain relevant as an important figure on the indie music scene. Apani continues to reach new levels artistically, always making new music and collaborating with varied artists, working as a makeup artist for several high end brands, expressing creativity through fashion, authoring books, as well as producing live shows and events through her company 2040MM.

Having been fully immersed in #HipHop, Inuit, and British culture from a young a age, the art of music is always been there

The CFC is a group of friends hailing from Victoria, BC. They make hip hop music from the heart with an intention to rock the party in classic hip hop style. Slamming sample based beats and clever rhymes (in English and Spanish) combine with live instruments to make shows a sure fire booty shaker. .. .. Since 2003, CFC has been promoting positive creativity on a global scale. They started by freestyling together in the kitchen. That soon led to recording their own first unreleased album 'Pranks' in 2005. To this day CFC makes their music independently. 2007 saw CFC record their first release 'Not Even Funny' and step out of the kitchen and on to the stage. Since then they have shared stages with Abstract Rude, Hey Ocean!, Shad K, Auresia, The Heard, Zona Marginal, Josh Martinez, Cyphanex, Def3, Kay the Aquanut, OYE!, WuTang's Raekwon, Greenlaw, Common Market, Gabriel Teodros, Kia Kadiri and Tech N9ne. .. .. 2007 was also CFC's first foray on an international scale playing at the 'Rocksistencia' festival in Cali, Colombia and performing at the 'Casa de Juventud' youth foundation. CFC returned to Colombia in 2009 to headline the '4th Annual International Festival Against Imperialism and War' in Cali and put on workshops for graffiti and skateboarding in Popayan where they shared the stage with Colombian stars Zona Marginal. .. .. Constantly playing benefit shows (Covers For a Cause, One Wave Festival, 4th Annual International Festival Against Imperialism and War, etc.) for various organizations worldwide (Urban Project, Pacific Peoples Partnership, Casa de Juventud) has shown the CFC how powerful music can be. This keeps them humble and good humoured. Whether building community locally or globally the aim is the same. They want to have fun, and they want to share it with you!
