With roots in the folk, rock, jam-band and funk scenes, Sarah Blacker and her band fuse their vibrant musical worlds together to create an original, soulful sound. 

The project, which regularly features keyboardist Phil Selesnick & other special guests, is comprised of Sarah Blacker & Aaron Z. Katz, both award-winning songwriters and performers whose influences include Peter Gabriel, Joni Mitchell, Steely Dan, Paul Simon, Erykah Badu and Jamiroquai to name a few. 

Aaron Katz with over 20 years of national and international touring, is the singer/songwriter/producer/drummer from the successful jam-band, Percy Hill. Percy Hill won the Jammy Award for ‘Album of the Year’ in 2000 and continues sell-out rooms on the jam club and festival scene. The band recently reunited after an 8-year hiatus, to sold-out shows at Port City Music Hall in Portland, ME and The Paradise, Boston. 

Sarah Blacker was named ‘Female Performer of the Year’ in the 2013 New England Music Awards, and has built a devoted following both nationally and internationally via extensive touring, passionate singing and songwriting, and belief in the power of music. Her motto, #songssavelives speaks to her work as a Music Therapist, and her coming up on the jam-band concerts and festivals scene. She feels enthusiastic about re-connecting/moving with this fun-loving group of people, now as an accomplished musician and performer.

I am Clever Girl

A former indie rock & metal-core frontman, Clever Girl is certainly no stranger to the music world, just a slightly different one. From a long history of being in national touring acts like the Human Flight Committee and To Speak of Wolves, the decision was made to embrace his passion for electronic dance music and start a new project. Thus, Clever Girl was born. In just a few short months, Clever Girl has recorded material for a full length album with co-producer Brooks Paschal (Versa Emerge, There Fore Tomorrow), released official remixes for The Voice's star Casey Desmond and Boston favorite Ingrid Gerdes, as well as popular online bootleg remixes of Britney Spears, Rihanna, Skrillex and more. With obvious love for all forms of EDM, Clever Girl produces a vast array of tracks from electro to house to electronic pop to even a little taste of dubstep. Since the initial release of the first bit of music and upon bringing the act live out, Clever Girl has already played some of the biggest dance parties in the Boston area, including earning a residency at one. Lacing every performance with the raw energy of his days of a rock frontman, you can expect nothing but the best live shows, fully equipped with glowing DJ table and a glowing "Clever Girl" sign that literally lights up the dance floor. In less than a year's time, having already opened for the likes of Zedd, Porter Robinson, Mustard Pimp, The M Machine, Kids At The Bar, Drop Goblin, DJ Bl3nd and many more, he is quickly gaining steam. Now that his take over of the New England area has begun, rest assured, the country and then the world are next.

Sunshine Jones is often called a "house legend" from San Francisco. A founding member of Dubtribe Sound System. He also makes electronic music by himself. He travels the world performing a live/DJ set - live mixing, singing, re editing on the fly, and championing the idea that literally anything you can syncopate is house music. He re edits for leisure, experiments with electronics for adventure, is often in an airplane, and is very kind to children.

Those who have experienced the soundscape journey of Bass Panda know the energy that he brings to the dance floor. Capable of packing whatever space he is invited to, this uplifting deejay charges the crowd with his impeccable song selection and inspiring artistic integrity. The mastery of his sound sense allows him to seamlessly blend live saxophone performance through multiple genres, personal edits and mashups, tempo changes, and classics to create an incredibly unique audience experience.

Bass Panda has established himself well in the community through a solid and supportive fan base who make a point of being at his shows, and has also become well-recognized online, with his mixes having reached well over 350,000 listens. In addition to performing at FozzyFest for 7 years, he has also had numerous sets at Wicked Woods, Vibes, Motion Notion, Astral Harvest, and FreezerBurn. Earlier highlights include opening for Far Too Loud, The Librarian, LongWalkShortDock, and Balkan Bump.
