Emerging from the vibrant pulse of Montreal, Mike Chidiac, a seasoned DJ deeply entrenched in techno and progressive, seeks to find, share and preserve electronic music in all its forms. He has honed his craft through a monthly residency at Circus Afterhours where he showcased his unique blend of progressive and techno. His 8 to 12-hour sets defy conventional limits, creating immersive experiences that transcend genres. Beyond the turntables, The Curator's passion extends to sound system mastery, building soundscapes that elevate the experience and fostering unity in the local music community.

Renowned for crafting musical journeys, The Curator's unique style has opened doors to share stages with international heavyweights, leaving a subtle mark on the city's musical canvas. With an unwavering commitment to musical exploration, The Curator continues to shape Montreal's musical tapestry, pushing the boundaries of sonic innovation.

Growing up, I dreamed of shredding a guitar solo on stage like Slash in November Rain. Then I discovered electronic music and everything changed. The vast range of sounds and their ability to take us on a unique journey pulled me in. 

After DJin for a while, the urge to play the guitar came back stronger than ever, and that's when I decided to explore the fusion of my rock roots with electronic sounds.

Started as a hobby, I decided at 40 to embark on this journey where I can be myself and express my creative freedom.

A mindset shift needed to happen. A mindset free from fear.

My mission is to inspire people to find courage to be whom they are meant be
