Much like your eyes, The ocean draws me in
I could drown in the deep indigo...
But I'm always going to try to swim. So that I can see you
Beyond the horizon... Across the Ocean...

The ocean — both wild and calm, dangerous and beautiful — is made up of majesty and mystery, and it is indeed a force of nature we stood in awe. While we may appear very small to such greatness of the ocean, human endeavors and emotions can be powerful. Beyond the horizon of the sea, we may have someone dear to one's heart. Especially during this stressful year, it's important to reflect on all of the kinship, blessings, and emotions you miss. So I wrote this piece of music and made this clip, dedicating it to all the people who love the ocean and miss their loved ones who may be missing you across the ocean.

Just sitting by yourself, thinking about life and all the people you're missing. I think about my dad and how different things would be if he were still alive. I think about the life I want and am moving toward every day. I think of the future, past regrets, everything really.

I'm trying to just live more in the moment. Everything is ok as is. Accept it, then make it better if you must. Nothing can be rushed, everything happens in its own time. I guess I'm just striving for peace.

The story behind it is simple, I was passed a cemetery once and wondered what it would be like if there was an awesome after life where the dead spend their time having fun, singing, dancing and falling in love. I just thought an afterlife like that would be wonderous! Anyways hope you enjoy this halloween-esque track!

Born in Urbana-Champaign, Illinois, Michael W. Choi is a Korean-American composer, conductor, and filmmaker specialized in writing music for film, animation, games, and new media.

He graduated from the Berklee College of Music: Valencia Campus, receiving a Master's degree in Scoring for Film, Television, and Video Games. His skills include musical composition, arrangement, orchestration, conducting, mixing, and experience in film production skills. He worked with independent directors and artists in the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He co-founded a student film production group called KUT Film Production, directing and producing short feature films.

He is currently based in Seoul, South Korea, working as a professional producer, music director, and composer for film, animation, video games, and new media.
