Constantijn Lange finds his inspiration in the wide wild open landscapes almost dropping into the North Sea, in Germany. His sounds intrigue and relax, they play with your mind and spark the imagination. Also known for his activity in the Laut & Luise duo, he offers a music full of lightness, with a slow and swaying beat. Perfect timing for this number 41 which almost sounds like the beginning of spring and the sunny terraces return. Delightfully produced, this live-set provides a nice overview of his talent. Take out your nicest smile, he deserves it.

C'est au nord de l'Allemagne que Constantijn Lange trouve son inspiration, au plus près des grandes étendues sauvages qui viennent se jeter dans la mer du Nord. Le son de Constantijn intrigue et détend, il joue avec l’esprit et éveille l’imaginaire. Egalement membre du duo Laut & Luise, il distille une musique pleine de légèreté, au tempo lent et chaloupé. Timing parfait donc pour ce numéro 41 qui sonnerait presque comme le début du printemps et l'arrivée des premières terrasses. We are happy to share our version of the SNDST BYND Mix. The idea behind SNDST BYND is, to express ourselves a little bit different as usual. Our idea was, to create a sound which goes along with us since we started being DJs until now. We kind of want to give you a little perspective of how we created our sound over the past 7 years and how these Tracks had an influence on our DJ Sets today. So we collected Tracks since 2008, which played a big role on our DJ Journey. Each track is connected with great memories for each of us, either as a DJ or being on the dancefloor as well. We also tried to create a Set, which sounds like an Podcast produced with tracks in and out of 2015, for those who just started listening to Techno and House music. Enjoy.

Emotional but powerful. I’m loving these tracks for their very own emotional journey. They brings you from a very sad place to a feeling full of power and energy.

Michael Klein - Live Drawing 2
One of my own experiments let’s me keep continue the vibe and feeling of power and energy from the tracks before. It get’s a little bit more hectic mimicking fast thought processes of sorting data in your mind.

Nosaj Thing - Medic
I have a very personal connection to this track as it was supporting me during the most emotional phase this year. It triggers me to constantly switch between sadness and euphoria because of its frequent back and forth between the harmonic parts and the stripped down atmo.

Echologist - Dirt (Area Elevation Remix)
For the first time i heard this track while being at a Boiler Room event in Berlin. Since than it always reminds me of the power music has on people.

Area - Tangled in 120
When i am low on energy or focus this track brings me back. Amazing energy that just makes me want to close my eyes and stop doing anything else. A very hypnotic and sexy techno track.

Kitkatone - My Mate The President
Loving the percussions of this one. One of the tracks that reminds me about all the facets and effects of techno music.

Rrose - Purge
This one stands for anger. One of these tracks you barely manage to squeeze into a club set because of its complexity and heaviness but for sure great to to support you during a run or workout.

Michael Cleis & Klement Bonelli - Marvinello (Feat. Martin Wilson) (Radio Slave Remix)
For sure there needed to be a super euphoric club tune in here. This one sounds and feels like an amazing well executed club night where everybody is enjoying themselves. But in general i am a big fan of the recent works of Radio Slave so one of them had to make it in here.

No politics, just music to bring peace and good vibes.

Often we get caught up in the everyday. its very easy to pass a year without focusing entirely on what we are really passionate about. In 2015, I gave up everything I should be doing, and went beyond my limitations to do what I truly loved. My life changed for the better, but more importantly my outlook on life will never be the same again. It’s easy to forget that we have a very limited amount of time. Take 2016 as your year. Live it by your rules, and find happiness through your own path. Then everything else will follow.
