This song started out called "Raw" and I was going to put lyrics to it, but it took off in a different direction and I kept feeling the vibe of the city after a gig.  The late nights, coming home in the wee hours.  People were just waking up and I was going to sleep.  It came to be about the city, about the Metros all over the world.

salo means 'fat' or 'sludge' in Ukrainian. I was drawn to the harmonica and sax and how they could complement each other in thus slow moving trippy, glitchy tune. it's also the title of a 1975 Italian Artsy Horror film. A colleague brought that to my attention. I leave it to you to judge how this song impacts you.
