I've spent over 30 years emeshed in the techno and house music underground. My youth was spent rocking out to classic rock, metal, old school electro, and Miami freestyle... and it shows. As DJ popgirl23, I got to play across the country and overseas. I won a lot of "Best DJ" awards in my hometown of Portland Maine, and held numerous residencies per week while being a sought-after DJ in the northeastern United States. After all that I eventually I needed a break from the party life. I stepped away for a decade and retired the popgirl moniker.
