Dirty Epic welcomes aboard Pi Electronics and Modal Analysis label boss @alxp for its twenty-sixth episode of Amplify Series.

3.14 is the project of DJ and producer Alex π, hailing from Athens, Greece. Based in Berlin since 2013. His record labels Pi Electronics and Modal Analysis have played an important role in the development of the experimental techno sound coming out of Greece, through the discography and events of the labels in Berlin and Athens. His sound crosses over techno, breaks and club-oriented music with the aesthetics of the 80s: industrial, noise and sub-genres.

Terminal System is a deep dive into the mechanics of minimal techno. Pulsing with an almost breakbeat edge, the track carries a stripped-down groove that keeps evolving while driving forward with hypnotic precision. Built on subtle shifts and raw textures, it blends movement with atmosphere—perfect for late-night sets or locked-in listening sessions.

“Alea Iacta Est”, famous words pronounced by Giulio Cesare after crossing the Rubicone river, openly violating the law that prohibited armed entry into the borders of Italy and giving to the second civil war.

From dark trips to hypnotic raw techno, for the first time on Absolute records you can find Giorgio Gigli, who purposes an endless dark techno trip; Rommek returns after one year with an intense industrial brick; B side starts with the host of the compilation Lunatik who purpose a crispy techno track, later there is OPL with a deep & groovy techno tool; closing track is entrusted to one of the most prolific producers of the moment, the portuguese Nørbak, who offers an incredible journey without borders.

Drawing from Post-Punk, Black Metal and Industrial, the French producer and live artist has returned to his roots, a crossover between the warehouse rave scene of the 90’s and industrial music, mixing Belgian EBM influences with post-modern, modular-engineered Techno.
At its core, the project is built around an evolving analog modular synth, accommodated by haunting live vocals and abrasive distortion.

When we created the label in 2017, our idea was to push new talents and to create an artist community following our philosophy. The six tracks here describe well the universe we want to promote, raw, mental and sci-fi techno with a big attention to details and sound design.

The various starts with a close friend of the label Souls Tide Zone that show us another side of his project with a powerful ambient track “Oracle”. Then comes “Tembeling”, produced by one of the label manager 9beats, mixing sci-fi forest ambiance with a strong organic bassline. Third track “A.I.” is from the Lyon based DJ and composer Nicolas Rifo, fast rolling toms with a dark atmosphere will guide you on this one. The first part of the various shows that CWR is not intended to focus on one style but more on the emotion and ambiance of the tracks.

Second part starts with the parisian based modularist dc11 and his track “Electron”. He took our attention these last months, dropping really strong and precise techno that clearly match the label. Then comes “Supo x1000” from Mersel that will easily find a place on your sets. Last artist highlight on this release is Benabou with her track “Torment”, mixing analog percussions with a strong lead.
