The first release under the alias "Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer" came out in 2022, after he successfully completed the producer course at Ableton. The best DAW of all time. first of all can i say a big thank you for having me!.. its a great pleasure.
so my name is dan..aka..dj sideways.
im a part time dj who loves to play dub techno.
i live in a small town in the uk called skipton, its very quiet and peaceful.

the equipment i use is 2 audio technica turntables with a pioneer djm 250mk2
mixer.
i also use phase..so i dont use needles, and also pioneer rekordbox.

Inspired by the Techno sound of Frankfurt in the early 90s (Harthouse, Eye Q etc.) and the many good parties, Reitzklang started djing Techno and Trance in 1994.
Later, he focused on Psychedelic Trance. For the last 20 years, he has concentrated on Techno, Progressive House and Dub Techno. And finally, he started producing himself Dub Techno and Hypnotic Techno 2 years ago.

„The Deep Way“ is a heartfelt project that celebrates the love for dub techno, experimental sounds, and electronic music in its purest form. This series captures the hypnotic, meditative quality of dub techno and connects it with deep, emotional themes of self-discovery and spiritual journeys. The signature sound of dub techno – with its cool, often detached atmosphere – becomes a key element of the narrative.

At the heart of the series lies the power of electronic sound, particularly the unmistakable 4/4 beat that characterizes the techno genre. This penetrating rhythm forms the foundation that supports the entire musical structure of the series, providing the audience with a steady, driving flow. In addition, the electronic bass drum, often the backbone of the music, is combined with subtle, repetitive effects like reverb, echo, and phaser, which are characteristic of the dub techno style.

These effects not only create a deeper, immersive soundscape but also reflect the inner journey of the characters. The drifting, distorted sounds and vast reverb spaces generate an atmosphere of detachment and reflection. They invite the listener to dive into the recurring patterns of the music, discovering new dimensions of the self that go beyond the ordinary.
