The Secret Garden

This is a version of Cooley's Reel, a traditional Irish Tune I played on Classical guitar.  For the entire piece I used only one guitar and one microphone to create all sounds, beats, etc. This is an idea that has been floating around my head for a while. Hope you like it.

Andy Allwood is a Soulful, Deep, Disco House DJ & Producer from Newcastle, England.
He was brought up on a variety of Soul, Funk, Motown & Disco music, which started his love affair for music with soul and eventually led him to Soulful House music.
Andy has over 20 years DJ experience, playing in Scotland, London, Ibiza & his home town of Newcastle, holding down residencies in both Newcastle & Ibiza.
Andy has DJ'ed alongside Roger Sanchez, Sandy Rivera, Graeme Park, Rob Tissera, Horse Meat Disco, Natasha Kitty Katt, Art Of Tones, Marco Loco, Ronnie Herel, The Journey Men, Jaegerossa and more

Electronic music producer from Waterford, Ireland, Stephen Richards dwells within the soundscapes of House, Funk, Disco, Soul & Electronic. His first album COLOURS captured the attention of DJs and producers around the globe and sprung him to become one of the promising newcomers from the underground electronic scene in the UK.

Jay Ru is pretty much the man when it comes to hip hop DJs in Waterford. He's warmed up a load of big international names including Jazzy Jeff, Andy Smith, Grandmaster Flash, Charles Webster and many more. He ran the much loved and missed Chop Shop Podcast which hosted mixes from pretty much all of Irelands finest Hip Hop DJ's powerful collection of classic instruments and samples.

QMLS September Show - George Mihaly (2024)

The Black Light Disco Show returned to the My House Radio airwaves with another jam-packed sonic submarine to tickle your ears and stimulate your brain nodes.  

The rota dial has spun back to Esteban (aka Ste Hendry) & Cole Kutz for this week’s show, and our deadly duo have put together another slow-burner - dropping the tempo and cooling the beats for a sumptuous and eclectic two hour trip down the rabbit hole of Hip Hop, funk, soul and Balaearic type vibes to transport you to sunnier climes and poolside grins.

BLD 21st April 2025 with Esteban and Cole kutz

Waterford indie/alternative dance artist 3rd Degree is set to release his new single “For The Night” on Friday, September 26th, 2025 via My.Co Records. The track is the second glimpse into his forthcoming debut album Connected.
A collaboration with label boss Micko Roche, “For The Night” pushes deeper into the darker, underground edges of 3rd Degree’s sound. From the opening moments, moody textures, sharp synth stabs, and a hypnotic bassline set the tone. Smacking drums and playful synth bass lock down the groove, while 3rd Degree’s reverb-soaked vocals add a melancholic, psychedelic touch.
Roche’s guitar work — now a defining part of the project’s signature sound — cuts through with heavy modulation and attitude, weaving seamlessly into the swirling synth layers as the track builds into a haze of textured electronic energy.
To accompany the release, photographer and videographer Kieran Power has crafted a striking music video, drawing on raw footage from Ireland’s breakdancing scene. The visuals perfectly mirror the track’s dark, underground energy, cementing “For The Night” as a bold step in 3rd Degree’s journey toward his debut album.
