'Beat & Path is proud to announce the first LP by Out of Sorts, A Figure of Speech. This five-track mini-album is a lockdown baby that fed on the quietness of a country on pause only to result in a labyrinthine of sonic life. Here, the techno and house duo's creation is a concoction of simmering and deeply rolling sounds resulting in a downright blazing dancefloor blitz.
 
For Beat & Path, A Figure of Speech summons the first of what will be a series of electronic mini albums that aim to capture a slice of where each label artist is creatively. 
 
"Lickity Split" delivers depth in the first instance and brings the Out Of Sorts sound right to the forefront for its entirety. Here, the contrast between the grit and grime of the gravely bottom ends are balanced with intricate, precision programming in the tops (also ushered in with the softest of strings). Combined with the haunting vocal, this is an intoxicating seven minutes that invites you to feel something from this maze of electronic complexity.'

Partial PR: MUUI returns to microcastle for the label's first release of 2017. Currently travelling the world on a weekly basis, the Berlin based artist continues to sculpt a unique path in the electronic underground. His live shows are bursts of creative energy; diverse, sonically distinctive sound stories where time stands still and you get lost in the music. Guy J and Lee Burridge have come along for the ride, recently showcasing Patrick's music in their live sets. Perpetually operating at a creative peak, MUUI's borderless output ranges from timeless melodic pieces to deep, meditative groovers, all the way up to tough, twisted techno. It's an uncanny scope and one which gets presented on his new artist showcase 'Seminal'.

"Kiev based DJ and producer Jean Vayat returns to Ready Mix Records, delivering two gorgeous original tracks for our 220th label release, plus remixes by HAFT, Rebeat, Khaaron and Bodaishin.
Quickly earning his stripes in the World of electronic and downtempo music, Jean Vayat's opening track 'Persia' melds melodic Eastern sounds with growling synths and a dense, steady groove to conjure up a progressive deep cut that simply simmers with drama.
The HAFT duo make a welcome return to Ready Mix for the first remix of 'Persia', turning in a crystalline, poised and beautifully produced deep prog version, filled with dizzying arpeggios and subtle atmospherics.
Next up, Iranian producer Rebeat brings a smooth, head-nodding groove to 'Persia', introducing fragments of melody and warm pads to his pleasing and dreamy remake.
Vayat's second original track 'Sinai' summons up a spiritual, mysterious and smoky atmosphere, once again powered along with a sure-footed, low-stepping groove.
Ready Mix regular Khaaron touches 'Sinai' lightly for his reworking, building around those evocative Eastern sounds, allowing them to breathe freely over an uncluttered rhythm.
Lastly but by no means leastly, Argentinian talent Bodaishin transforms 'Sinai' into a truly global groove, adding Balearic guitar and Andean flute touches to his thoroughly engaging remix.
