As the waning of the final winter moon came to an end, Kurt Baggaley entered label 'Chapter 24' into the world of wax for its first 12-inch release.

Kurt Baggaley is an artist who lives and breathes the electronic music culture. He has evolved his productions into a unique and personal sound since his early days as the Electro artist Scape One. Taking in influences from early 80's Chicago House, Detroit Techno and New York Club, with a fusion of Italo Disco, Euro Synth and Electro, his huge Former Self EP on SoHaSo in Spring 2015 was met with widespread acclaim on both digital and physical formats.

Winterland EP will be released April 22 via Chapter 24.

Partial Press Release:  The 44th release on microCastle welcomes Mike Griego to the label for his debut EP. The Argentinean artist closed out 2015 with a remix of Hernan Cattaneo & Guy Mantzur's 'Imaginarium'. That strong momentum continued as 2016 began with his much loved 'Sofia' production being licensed to John Digweed's 'Live In Montreal' mix compilation, released on Bedrock in February of this year. Mike has long been and remains one of his country's most in demand DJs, making regular appearances at Bahrein, La Boite and The Bow. Now presenting his first new productions of 2016 Mike makes his long awaited debut on microCastle with the 'Idioglossia EP', alongside remixes from BOg and Hermanez.  

The lone interpretation of 'Limbo' is provided by Hermanez who is also making his first appearance on microCastle. Belgian born with Latin roots, Michael Coninx aka Hermanez is perhaps best known for his timeless, tech-soul productions on Mobilee Records, Noir Music, Suara, Traum and his own Aella imprint, which he runs together with long-time friend and fellow Belgian artist Ramon Tapia. His unique vision has etched a place in the top tier of house and techno, performing around the world while his productions are routinely play listed by Luciano, Locodice and John Digweed. For his 'Limbo' interpretation Hermanez has reinvented the piece in his own inimitable style while retaining the main motif from the original. It's tough beats, rugged grooves and burly stabs set a large presence early, before a perfectly timed second act teases the melodies under a strong drum line. As Hermanez describes, "The remix was made in different phases, first I listened to the original track for weeks and then I slowly started on it. It was during the cold winter months and that gave me great inspiration and flow compared to  other times of the year. I needed more time than scheduled, sometimes it happens, it was one of those ones where right before you think it’s finished, a totally different view of the remix appears and it all makes sense. I jammed a different drum line on the sounds and that was the one :)"

The Incroyable Music imprint returns once more, set to serve up another helping of emotional and captivating electronic music, this time fronted by label regular Fabio Montana and his Metropolitan EP. Following on from his Nebula EP, which saw great success, the ‘Metropolitan’ collection features two originals and a following two remixes from Bellville and Benotmane.

The title track kicks off proceedings, featuring a selection of soaring melodies and a down right infectious groove that runs throughout, pausing briefly only to pick up the energy levels in two spine tingling builds. The journey then turns a corner as Swiss producer Benotmane builds upon the original melodic phrasing that Fabio so eloquently crafted, with an end result that boasts a deeper and slightly darker atmosphere. Bellville then strips it back further, with drops driven by a crisp kick and odd flurries of synth bursts, setting the final original up perfectly to close the EP in style. ‘Streets of London’ is a seven minute spectacle, set for the darker corners of the room, powered by rolling synths and deep pulsating bass and a fitting end to the latest Incroyable chapter.

As beautiful hot days of summer continues and Submarine Vibes has yet another perfect release lined up.
This time, it's German trio T.M.A with their EP called Bozeman.
Talented Berliners, T.M.A. crafted three original mixes and they all are full of beautiful melodies, perfectly blended soft atmospheric sounds and charming summer grooves.
Bozeman is a stunning track with classic catchy bassline wonderfully mixed with positive summery synths and pads. Second track is called Beale Street and it's a majestic pure deep house piece with an addictively good drive. Last original piece is Bukka White and it's a beautiful track with catchy and charming piano riffs.

The first remix is done by BroFi, also two brothers who presenting their new fresh alias with this remix. One of the project members is also part of well-known duo Hanne & Lore. They've done a remix of Beale Street, more stripped down version yet full of exciting sounds and voices. 

The second remix comes fromBerlin-based Tony Casanova. Bukka White is the track he remixed and it's safe to say that Tony delivers his stunning  and groovy interpretation of the track.

Whether it's a beach or boat parties, sunny terrace gatherings or even dance floors of the night club Bozeman EP is simply packed with those  wonderful summer vibes and pure house grooves making it perfect for almost any occasion.

PR: Third Son’s much-lauded October 2016 label debut ‘Climb to the Sun’ was the highlight of a fine vintage musical year. As one of electronic music's most creative talents, Joseph Thomas Price has already carved out a unique sound and style, further cementing him as one of the most exciting artists of the moment. A recent string of superb releases on Noir, Traum Schallplatten, Upon.You and his own Polymath imprint have now led him back to microcastle, to release his most bold and exciting project to date, the utterly engrossing artist showcase ‘2042'.

This new EP is an aural experiment that demands your full attention, and is the latest engaging, sensory experience from the musical mind of an artist whose talent knows no boundaries. Stylistically diverse over five compositions, Third Son strays from the path of the pure club track to freely explore a more leftfield techno/deep and experimental electronica palette. His journey-esque structures and evolving arrangements lend a visual, filmic element to his music, beautifully emotive and haunting in equal-measure. This is an artist who thrives on challenging people’s perceptions, always moving forward.

Leading this latest opus is ‘Udon’, its swirling metronomic percussive intro fizzing with tension, as the track builds with swarming Moroder-esque synth parts, all held firmly in place with a thumping heartbeat kick and building towards a purring finale. Title track, ‘2042’, rides on a backbone of stripped back, spacious, percussive experimentation and a growling groove, topped with daring detuned synth melodies - bold and distinctive in equal measure.

Third Son takes the journey deeper with the highly filmic ‘Istanbul’. Brooding with the pulse of anticipation, this audio travelogue weaves a magical spell as snippets of indistinct voices call over subtle melodic motifs. The track wanders inexorably into the listener’s subconscious with its subtle shades and tones. The sound-tracking of an imaginary film continues through ‘The End (Parts I+II)’, where metallic anvil percussion provides an evocative contrast to powerful synth swells and dramatic stabs, before diving into a deep abyss of jaw-droppingly dramatic ambient electronica, finally melting into the slo-mo synth euphoria of ‘Eno’.

The ‘2042' EP isn't a short trip, this is an expansive adventure - one that can be revisited time and time again and never sound the same. It’s capacious symphony of sounds, diverse style and expressive range will warm your heart, touch your soul and reach your deepest, most sensitive memories. With Third Son currently developing his live show to capture the drama and emotion presented here, the future for electronic music is looking like a very exciting prospect indeed.
