As for our Raccoon—last we saw, they were enjoying summer with Mango the Toucan on a floating island. Now, as the leaves fall, with Mango still around, the island has turned into a garden, complete with carrots and Jazz the Bunny. Together, the three partake in deep conversations, cultivating, and connecting with nature. The colors are shifting, the vibes are mellowing, and a new chapter in the Chillhop world begins. Altar Records offers you a trip to the land of the Thousand and One Nights with "La Danse de la Lune".
This album is ultimately organic with a lot of instrumentation. Almost all of the instruments were recorded in the studio between 2015 and 2020, specifically to create the unique and groovy vibe of this album.
You may recognize some song names here, already released in compilations.
The work on this album was considerable: it took 5 years to achieve it in order to be satisfied with the results...It played in Astral Waves live sets at outdoor festivals in Canada and Europe and received many positive feedback. Gaudi really liked "Lullaby for the Godchild" at Samsara 2018.
All the thanks go to the fabulous artists who put their hands in the dough: Project Æolia on the flute, DJ Prahladji aka Patrick Bernard and Lydia on vocals, Rachel on the flute on track # 5, Elea for the vocals and instruments in the remixes as well as Sufi's Life and Merlin also for their composition work. A big thanks to Amani Friend from Desert Dwellers for his trust and patience as well as Louis from Suduaya for his amazing guitar play on track # 5.

Best new artist revealed on Altar last year, I.M.D aka Marco Cajero is back with a full-length album titled "Mensaje al corazón".

"Mensaje al corazón", in English "Message to the Heart", is a delicate and profound psychill album that soothes with a sustained breathy tone and a wide and deep emotional sound. We hope you'll have a great listening experience.

Some words from Marco about the creation of this album: 

"During our life, we experienced different forms of Love; the Love that we receive from our family through a hug, the Love that we share with a good friend or a stranger through a good chat, the Love we offer in the moment through when kissing a beloved one. 

All of this these forms of Love are just projections, expressions of the Love that is living inside us, and that we decide to share. 

This album has been inspired by the most pure form of Love that a human can experience. 

Finding myself in an empty space, where nothing exists but pure energy, I found myself with this infinite Love, the Love that each of us has deep inside: Self Love. 

Each song has been named after an experience I've lived during this last year, where I found myself with this infinite energy. 

I hope this message of sound, can bring you to a place where you can find your Self Love, and hopefully you will be able to experience this infinite energy of light that flows inside of each of us. Hear it, feel it, embrace it,
