Microcosmos Records presents a single Ritual by Vena Portae.

This is a sound ceremony in which the elements of water, wind and fire are intertwined in order to burn and wash away what has already become obsolete, that which should have been burnt to ashes and forgotten.

The track begins with earthy sounds: the murmur of water, the crackle of burning wormwood, the singing and crying of a willow flute.

In the second half, the composition turns into a guitar part with an otherworldly sound, as if created in the darkest and most ancient parts of the Universe.

Ritual is a journey into inner space, in which, perhaps, what we usually hide from ourselves will be revealed.
