For The Rust Music's 50th release, we're incredibly honored to present Zonra's latest work, the Hypotheticals EP. Hailing from Santa Rosa, CA and wielding international appeal, Zonra's musical exploits are defined by lush textures and meticulous songwriting. 

With a new record comes a new conceptual direction, and Hypotheticals strays far from the quantized pack, materializing as a blend of off-kilter melodies and staccato rhythms that churn out potent, asynchronous riffs. Since there is a lot of fear and confusion on the planet right now and so much information and so many different agendas out there it can be hard to figure out the truth. That's why we created this sound healing journey to help you activate your "3rd Eye" and be able to tune into your internal truth and wisdom. About the journey:
We used a sound healing concept called "Planetary Tunings" or "The Cosmic Octave" as a foundation for this Sound Journey. Its a way of re-attuning with the cosmos that creates balance and harmony within. Each energy center is resonated by a different planet. And based on their rotational movement a frequency can be calculated based on the formula of the cosmic octave by Hans Cousto. The 3rd Eye Chakra - The energy center that governs our ability to see the truth and have a clear mind and see a bigger picture or reality is resonated by the planet Venus.

The Venus tone regulates the Balance between intellect and intuition.

So! Here is my live recording of the Plant Sound Journey i did at Boom festival this summer 🍃🌱🌿
I never did a whole set playing only plant generated sounds before. I also never played such an “ambient” set, not in anyway attemting to intensify, but rather inviting the audience to fully slow down. 
To, just for this one hour, put aside all we think we know of how we safe the planet through what we eat and how we live with nature. To put aside everything we logically know and studiet about, but to rather emphasize with it and for once just truly try to listen to what it wants to tell us. 
I feel that we live in a world where the art of listening, is something we have to relearn. 
To listen not only with our ears and mind, but also with our hearts and intuition.
I believe that only then, we would really be able to hear the clear message being given. 
That only then, we really connect and become one 🍃
