Lexia Majora is a Romanian DJ based in Exeter UK, specializing in techno, minimal, and house. She is the co-manager of techno night Room 303 and women + nonbinary collective Sister Sounds. 

She plays regularly in Exeter and has supported artists such as Daniel Avery, Peach, Mall Grab, and Afrodeutsche. Lexia learned how to mix on vinyl at Mix Nights in Bristol, and even though she mostly plays digitally nowadays, vinyl remains her true love. 

Currently, Lexia Majora is doing an anthropology PhD at the University of Exeter about the Rominimal genre and community and hopes to publish a book about this afterward. 

This mix reflects Lexia Majora’s eccentricity, and her preference for wonky, alien sounds which challenge the listener to step out of their comfort zone, while also providing a sense of familiarity through the warmth of the melodies and vocals that are sprinkled around it.

On this new episode of Microtechno Podcast we feature the Toronto based DJ, producer and label owner of Savvy Records, Kyle Yip aka Discrete. He is known not only for his Juno Award Nominated full-length album, but also his remixes for international artists such as Brabe, Society of Silence and many more.
 
An affinity for the commingling and contrasting sounds and playful experimentation inspired the birth of Savvy Records, a platform he created to fill a distinct niche for the music he loves. Since the labels conception in 2010, it has released singles and albums from such notable artists as Bram Faber, Der Amethyst, Donk Boys, Frankie, Paradroid, Phil Denton, René van Munster, S.O.S., Thomas Gwosdz, Thore Pfieffer, Xavier León, as well as his own productions. His label also hosts the Savvy Records Podcast, an excellent resource for discovering new and dynamic music for newcomers and the more seasoned electronica listeners alike.
 
Following a strong library of solo releases, 'The Midas Touch' is Kyle's first full-length solo album. Kyle Intertwined his love for jazz, disco and soul with a deep-house and techno tinged sensibility. This medley of inspirations were crucial to constructing a sound that is not only exuberant and enigmatic, but also nostalgic and thoughtful. This rare fusion has garnered Kyle a nomination for 'Best Electronic Album of the Year' at the 2016 Canadian Juno Awards in Calgary.
 
While Kyle is an active presence in Toronto's nightlife, often throwing parties for his Savvy Records label, he is equally involved with an international community of producers and musicians. His accolades from distinguished artists such as DJ Sneak, Mark E, Mousse T and Pezzner can attest to this as well as his releases on labels such as Defected Records and Get Physical Music.
 
The future holds promise for Kyle and Savvy Records. While eagerly awaiting a handful of upcoming releases for Savvy Records on the horizon — including a remix EP for 'Always No' from 'The Midas Touch' — he is also perfecting his next Discrete album, the sophomore follow up to 'The Midas Touch' LP. Amidst the sound and the fury, Kyle maintains a strong vision, with sights fixed upon a sound that can breathe beauty, communion and transcendence into us all.

Alexander Kornienko is a dj and producer from Belgorod, Russia. Broad experience in DJing and great taste in music helped him to significantly improve the quality of his own tracks. Also, Alexander promotes classical vinyl DJing. Kornienko's debut release was in september 2016 on the label known by Blind Vision. The next EP was released in the winter 2017 on Conceptual. Later, he worked with a new born lable Ouvert on his first vinyl release, which included four tracks. Due to the concept of the label, all the tracks were listed as Unknown Artist – Unknown Track. 

The team of Complete label discovered Alexander's music and he took a part in their showcase of summer 2017 in Gazgolder night club. Later on, Alfij joined Complete's team. Alexander also gets a lot of attention from other teams and starts playing for clubs such as Gazgolder, Propaganda, Avangarden, Aglomerat, Dissident, Poison House, Дом Культуры and other clubs in Moscow and Saint Petersburg, Rostov on Don, Nijniy Novgord, Lipetsk and Belgorod. Furthermore, Aflij continues working on his own music and makes remixes for Russian and foreign labels, such as Capodopere, hedZup, Bla Bla, Cachai, Blind Vision, Conceptual, Whyostro, Innocent Music, Plant 74, Moff, Other Thoughts Records, Aenaria Music, iTech, DP-6, Applique and Conrigore Records. His tracks hit the top of Beatport's chart more then once. In 2018 Engineer Records' release features his track Alfij – Empire. Currently, Alexander actively cooperates with the label and works on few vinyl and digital releases.
