This one is my latest remix for Traum, of a track by Microtrauma coming out at the start of March. I loved the eerie vocals and groove on some hi-end drums from the original, so I took those and built a new chord arrangement over them, sticking to a simple understated feel throughout....it's supposed to be a quite relaxed track basically, I must be getting old!

On this episode we invited the Icelandic and Oslo-based Thorgerdur Johanna (Þorgerður Jóhanna), she is no newcomer when it comes to music, as she's been playing the piano since she was 9 years old. With classical background she had what it took to smooth her way into the art of DJing, and she's been spinning records in clubs since 2015, after only a few months of catching the technique behind the decks. She's one of three members of OsloGround (www.osloground.com), together with Nordiks and A:G.
Comprised of everything from different kinds of house and almost melodic tech-house, to the darker dub and minimal romania sound, she manages to create something different from the rest. At times blended in with techno and breakbeats coloured with enigmatic melodies, her sets build up a vibe that is difficult to define. One thing is sure; her energy when playing is mesmerising, filled with positiveness and satisfaction.    Enjoy.

Run by Amsterdam by way of Berlin, Disc Jockey, Monty, If this opening EP is anything to go by this is going to be all about the Rhythm. Bit crushed 808 deep blue kicks fill the bass bins while every other piece of percussive muscle is flexed with no part of the spectrum left wanting. Record out July 13th on vinyl.

For our sixth blossy tale, we have the immense pleasure to introduce Diogo Lacerda, one of the most influential selectors in Lisbon the last few years, with residences at Assemble Music riverside parties, 5A CLUB and LowMoneyMusicLove Showcases among others.

The set was recorded live at an open air evening garden party during the last day of spring for the Lisbon-based project AR LIVRE, curated by Elless & Benn. The spring vibes of the set are difficult not to hear, and we are thrilled to share with you this warm summery ride, which we have been enjoying a lot lately, and hope you will too.
