For release 206 on Ready Mix Records, we welcome back French producer Rosé Sunset to the label with three sun-drenched cuts, plus remixes from Voluntier and MEL BELL.  

Opening track 'Fascination' combines syncopated arpeggios and a warm, hypnotic rhythm section to create a sublimely chilled deep house mood. 

London producer Voluntier takes 'Fascination' in a darker, more introspective direction with heavy bass and brooding synth atmospheres.  

Second original track 'Ré Island Sunset' is a sweeping, meditative piece, with slow moving chords and an uplifting feel. 

Third original track 'Endless Trip' takes on a more urgent, percussive character, as fragmented, dubby melodies ride over subtle chords. 

Finally, emerging German talent MEL BELL brings a delicious deep melodic infusion to 'Endless Trip', making the track feel equally right for the dancefloor or the after-party.

In 1995 simple tracker software got the interest of the two friends Daniel and Ricardo. Thus, they decided to produce a few tracks.
Both shared a common passion for all sorts of different musical styles, which made their early productions very diverse.
Through the many influences of artists from New Order and Depeche Mode to Massive Attack, The Prodigy, Moby and the various techno disciples
of this multi-faceted time, the two of them produced everything they enjoy, be it trip hop, electronica, breaks or techno.

However, in 1999 the two of them went separate ways for reasons of diverging careers.
They quickly lost touch to each other until the contact ceased completely. Yet, the two of them still wished to produce music.
This is why both of them kept working with synthesizers, music software and studio technology creating their own tracks.

In 2003, it was coincidence that brought them back together.
The two friends met again at a small local electro party and soon realised that they still shared the same interest for electronic music as they had four years earlier.
After a few sessions in their domestic living room studios they decided to make more of their hobby and, thus, started renting their first studio in 2005.
Microtrauma was born.

In 2007, Microtrauma had its first release “Wake up“ on the Elected Tunes label. Their first own release “Collar EP” soon was to follow.
Microtrauma has developed its own style from almost ten years of working and tinkering as well as its many influences: melodic, dark, technoid and minimal.
