Manjumasi co-founder atish makes his long awaited bow on the production front with his very first solo EP in the form of two original cuts and remixes from Lee Jones and Dance Spirit. Peculiar Colors EP, the fifth release on the imprint, tows the party line in offering a refreshing electronic take across the board. Dance Spirit, known for releases on the likes of Sol Selectas, Get Weird, Kindisch and Rebellion, provide a soothing edition of the title track, which you can hear exclusively on When We Dip today.

My Favorite Robot Records came to life three years ago and in the intervening time has become one of the most respected electronic record labels around. Now the imprint reaches the minor landmark of its 50th release and looks to the talent of fellow Canadian Sid LeRock to deliver a scorching single to fit the bill.

Sheldon Thompson AKA Sid LeRock is a resident of Cologne, Germany, but originally hails from Ontario, Canada where he chose to leave the family trade as a Lumberjack behind to pursue his musical passions, first in Toronto, before moving to Europe. LeRock has been a regular on Ladomat 2000 &amp; Shitkatapult, for whom he has released a string of singles as well as three artist albums, he also records under the Pan/Tone moniker for the likes of Kompakt, Mule Electronic and his own Cereal/Killers imprint.

This latest release features two tracks, ‘Temptress’ and ‘Tamer’ with outstanding remixes of each. The single kicks off with ‘Temptress’, a wonderfully hypnotic and techy cut with a pulsating backing track and LeRock’s intense and emotive vocals. The remixes on this come courtesy of London’s Alex Jones, who offers up a spacious techno reworking and fellow Canadian hot shot, Jordan Dare who takes things down a deep and dark route with a version that stays true to the original whilst injecting its own character into the mix.

‘Tamer’ is a counterpart to the brooding atmosphere of ‘Temptress’, providing a deeply melodic and mesmerising record that once again showcases LeRock’s haunting vocals. Alongside the original, LeRock gets to work under his Gringo Grinder alter ego to deliver a mix that perfectly fuses elements of electro with a driving techno rhythm track, quality stuff.

With ‘Temptress &amp; the Tamer’ Sid LeRock has delivered another outstanding release on a label that is quite simply on fire at the moment and with a full length album signed from LeRock due for later this year there is plenty to look forward to.

'Everything will change' has a melancholic but satisfied atmosphere. 'slow' is a timeless track for any situation, and 'get up and dance' has a very unique dynamic of sounds and drums that makes you kind of nervous, so that you can not wait any longer to grace the dance floor.

Niels & Ijsbrand - the first also goes by name of AMyn, the second you know as a member of Stavroz, handle the situation like proud parents. Their moniker includes 'junior.', but that might just as well be 'senior'. Creative solutions, a broad scale of feelings, experience and an occasional moment of pure insanity fused with looming existential thoughts - all crammed into one EP. 
Sounds like an ordinary day for any adult.

Big time! Did @acud pull these two catchy and slow tunes just out of his hat? Yes indeed, the man behind Berlin’s Keller label delivers two timeless tracks out of nothing and infects everyone within earshot. 
Nonchalent vocals and synths of „Der Gang“ make you instantly feel better even if you already felt good before listening.
„Immer So“ is pure love with a touch of melodrama. Super producer @aerrra picks up this feeling perfectly with a remix made for the floors of dance. Triple classic alert!
