The Brighton-based producer and creative mastermind, Caldera, lets us delve into his multi-faceted personality with his new EP, 5D Worlds. No VR set needed, Caldera follows the chant of the sirens and the shamanic incantations but never directly references them: a psychoactive journey without the psychedelics. 

Caldera’s 5D Worlds is a hyperreal ride, from his signature dubby grooves to his lesser known Tech-Trance whopper fantasies – As the BPM evolves, the sound designs morph and the gentle percussion give way to sonar-like synths and binary rhythms.

Embracing Midgar's story-tale approach, 'Da Nao Tian Gong' (also known as 'Havoc in Heaven') stands as https://soundcloud.com/polygonia's latest four-track EP. Lindsey Wang draws direct influence from a beloved childhood cartoon, itself inspired by the ancient Chinese legend 'Journey to the West' and the iconic character Sun Wukong. In a retro-modern twist, the tracks vividly depict Sun Wukong's essence: 'Jindou Yun' embodies the swiftness of his cloud, 'Shen Wai Shenfa' invokes his magical hair with tribal rhythms, 'Ruyi Jingu Bang' mirrors his legendary staff's power, and 'Disha Shu' portrays his 72 Transformations through vibrant harmonics.

Polygonia - Shen Wai Shenfa

[HARMONY016]— Limping on Clouds is an EP born from an in-depth collaboration between @polygonia and @shoall. The A-side features one carefully curated track by each artist, while the B-side is a true symbiosis of their work, evolving from a single element or layer loop into a complete mix and arrangement that was gradually developed over time and distance.
 
Side A opens with Shoal's “Majola,” featuring layered breaks and a deep, slung bass, followed by Polygonia's “Repeat,” infused with kinetic energy, rhythmic elements, and euphonic vocal samples.

The synergistic B-side unfolds with a subtle, organic rhythm. “Pendulum” overflows with lush ambiance, creating an ethereal mood that pervades the record. The EP concludes on a downtempo note with the track “Limping on Clouds.”
