Angela Sheik is a self-confessed loop pedal guru,, with a wealth of experience playing live with them, demoing them and she even won a US national competition for performing with them! She uses a wide variety of instruments when playing live to captivate and engross her audiences; fusing sounds of her voice with Micro Korgs, Auto Harps, smashing plates, and more.

She's captivated listeners throughout the US and Europe and has opened for acts such as Meshell N'Degeocello, Julia Holter, Midge Ure, and Joseph Arthur. She has toured, spoken, taught, and lead workshops nationally and internationally, and is a passionate advocate and educator of women in the music industry.

Hubie Sounds 028 - Chemical Brothers New Album Special - 15-09-23

Bugged Out turns 30 next year, and this mix is made up of 30 records which represents each of those years from 1994 to 2023.

Myself, Johnno and Lemmy from Bugged Out all reflected on various points in the clubs history and the artists who have helped shape it, and chose records which felt are a representation of the sound of the club, not just historically, but where it stands now. 

Pulling together music from different eras and sounds was a bit of a challenge, and whilst some may not be the biggest track of their respective year - a few will be seen as classics and a healthy amount are perhaps obscure in relation - but to my ears they still sound as brilliant now as they did upon release. 

In a bizarre twist of fate, the oldest record from 1994 is mixed in with the newest from this year, which wasn't intentional. Clocking in at 2 and a half hours, the mix was recorded live in a single take, here in London.
