@nesaazadikhah returns on Kulture Galerie with a 4 track EP on Filippo MSM’s cassette tape sub-label Digital Artefacts.

With “My World” Nesa tells a personal story of influences and inspirations split in 4 parts / tracks. Each of the tracks is in fact named after who matters the most to the artist: her 2 dogs, her life partner and herself. Sonically the EP is a unique blend of music that Nesa loves and its hard to not fall in love with. The A side is very UK tinged Techno whilst the B side includes a slow chuggy Dark Disco track and a super trippy dub cut. Fall in love with Nesa's life.

Next up in our Digest series is our good mate Antoni aka Antek!

I first met Antoni last year when he invited me down to Planet Wax for one of his instalments of 'Antek Invites', a regular event he hosts at the shop showcasing the breadth and depth of his taste alongside friends and other DJs who he knows will match the vibe. 

A true gent with a genuine passion for music, Antek's been part of the Planet Wax crew for ~18 months with regular appearances and events at the shop, alongside other gigs around South London, as well as radio appearances on Subtle, Aaja, Kool FM, Balamii, and Netil to name a few. 

He even played the Steel City of Sheffield recently at the newly established Gut Level, a queer community DIY space in the heart of the city centre.

Meet Regulardisco’s second compilation: bigger and juicier than ever. As always, we aim to showcase the bright side of the Ukrainian electronic scene — one that doesn’t often get the spotlight — while raising funds for the needs of Ukrainian defenders. This time, alongside Ukrainian artists based both in Ukraine and around the world, we’ve invited some international guests: Hola Olas (Belgium), Martin Zetta (Brazil), and Good Catch (United Kingdom). This compilation is truly a multi-genre piece, telling a story that flows smoothly from leftfield, rather abstract music to indie dance, with a detailed stop at Italo, space disco, and dark disco. From there, we journey through Chicago house and acid house, before ending with fast, dreamy progressive house seasoned with a breakbeat flavor.

Manufactured Conflicts is the hard-hitting precision engineered debut from one of electronic music’s most acclaimed experimental underground’s drummer. His cinematic math-laden techno is a combination of beastial, off-pulse rhythms, clever metric modulation, inspired textures and punchy transients designed to bend the listener’s mind whilst providing a high-impact full-body massage groove to the dancefloor.

Fierce and punishing, title tracks ‘Manufactured Conflicts’ and ‘Orbature’ pummel away at the consciousness where the only way out is through whole mind and body surrender. Manipulations of the mind play out in the two end-game scenarios of ‘Artificial Landscapes Part 1 and 2’, where lightness and tension interlace between man and machine.

Samuel Kerridge thoughtfully re-engineers ‘Orbature’ re-pacing the structure and contributing additional textures to the piece. His rework sculpts a haunting industrial feel to the track.

About Sorcery

Sorcery cuts a unique presence in electronic music’s experimental underground. A passion for the interaction between acoustic and electronic instruments has led to the creation of intricate, mind bending and challenging compositions. There’s an unrelenting and visceral impulse to his work, defined by a life-long and far-reaching passion for the rhythmic qualities of music. It’s a compelling, abrasive alchemy, defined by a belief in pursuing the ‘Gesamtkunstwerk’. This is ‘total’ music production: composition, collaboration, performance and recording — of which he is a proven a master in all four disciplines.

The producer behind Sorcery has lent his unique live drummer presence to the techno scene throughout various contributions and collaborations including with Kangding Ray, Belief Defect, Dadub and Powell just to name a few. This musicianship has led him to perform twice at Atonal festival and release on the Atonal imprint with SUMS (Kangding Ray + Barry Burns/Mogwai).
