„At The Lake" seems to be an ambient cinematic track until the kickdrum appears. The field recordings Frederik Neu recorded in the nature of Canada play a big role in the track as well as the synth sounds, especially the Prophet Rev2 Synthesizer was a big inspiration. Subtile changes in harmony fulfill the magic atmosphere.
The track is made more conceptual and can be divided into parts. After the intro and a short break the mood changes and the track becomes more playful. Another change happens later when the 303 bassline emerges.
