With a deep appreciation for the art of DJing, branqueeno intentionally selects and blends music together to tell a story and take the listeners on a journey.  

Inspired by house music's Chicago and New York City sounds and culture, branqueeno’s musical style and selection brings a modern twist with an old school flare. She plays a range of house and electronic music, spanning classic, jackin’, deep, garage, acid, disco, tech, minimal, afro, latin, indie dance, progressive-tech, and breaks. A groove is guaranteed with a lot of vocals.

To honor house music’s cultural beginnings, she actively contributes to the community by helping to create safe, inclusive spaces that unite people together. She works with several collectives that follow this ethos and has actively produced events since 2023. These events focus on elevating others, primarily women, by creating opportunities for performance, mentorship, skill development, and networking. Notably, she is the New York City lead with the collective, Sisters in Sound, who was one of the 2025 Beatport Diversity Fund grant winners.

Committed to her musical development, she and consistently seeks opportunities to refine her technical abilities on the decks and as a producer. Her first official release was in July 2025. Her production style aligns with her taste as a selector, full of groovy basslines and percussion to evoke emotion, connection, and escape to listeners on the dance floor and beyond.

REVOLT is an electronic music collective that was formed in November of 2021 focusing in three main areas: MUSIC, EVENTS, and PHILANTHROPY. 

MUSIC
For the most part, sharing music is the driving force behind REVOLT. With DJs/Producers from all different backgrounds, our BIPOC lead collective creates tracks and mixes that are inspired by ANTI-POLITICAL, UNIFYING, and/or UPLIFTING influences.

EVENTS
At every REVOLT, revolution is the theme. With electronic music playing in the background, we gather a forward thinking community to make each event feel like a protest in which dancing is our form of freedom of expression. In addition, we take 20% of all event profits and make donations to various charitable causes locally and/or globally.

PHILANTHROPY
Outside of our events we also raise money and awareness online. Given that there is a negative stigma about those who rave/party, we wanted to use our platform to make a difference through music.

"Stockholm-based Mikael Jonasson is a long serving DJ and producer who continues to push the boundaries of modern club music with his amazingly crafted, rather rare techno productions. With recent releases on labels like EXILE, Figure and Drumcode, Mikael has earned the support and attention from all the key players in the techno scene, resulting in a busy schedule of gigs around the world. His latest stops included the legendary Berghain in Berlin, Lehmann in Stuttgart, Privilege on Ibiza, Dockyard Festival during ADE in Amsterdam or Lantern in Bejing.

Starting out as a drummer in early years, attending municipal music education, led to the later interest in electronic music. Being a part of the Swedish rave culture in the late 90´s, Mikael started to collect pretty much every analogue synthesizer he could afford. What started out as experimental sounds evolved and matured over the years into music, and back in 1999 Mikael´s first vinyl record was released. Hard struggle in the studio and behind the decks, in combination with being a highly sought after producer in the international techno-scene has resulted in a variety of high quality releases topping the techno charts over a significant period of time.

In 2016 Mikael decided to team up with Johannes Heil, Markus Suckut and Andre Kronert as part of the EXILE imprint. Over the next years we will see a steady flow of releases and label events connected to these four producers and their mutual virtues and values that reach far beyond the music and the bussiness of the electronic music scene.

Right now Mikael continues to build his own intricate sound, characterised by an unique sound design and his attention to details. Strongly supported by fans, radio-stations and DJs around the globe, Mikael´s journey continues. Artistry through techno, 2018 style."
