'The Good Life', his latest Hot Gorilla outing, sees him push further into original production via an attractive blend of sampled funk vocals, rubbery bass guitar, effortlessly funky beats and layered synth sounds aplenty. Hot Gorilla regular Andy Buchan remixes, impressively re-imagining the track as a horn-heavy slice of mid-tempo P-funk colour with added bass weight.
