For those who don't know, the Video Game Music Academy launched this 21-day Composition Challenge in which you're required to compose at least 2-4 bars of music everyday in order to build up a habit out of it.

This is basically the work that I've been doing.

Third day of the 21 days of VGM challenge!

Using the prompt from quest log lvl 4:
To the Skies: This challenge is all about invoking the feeling of flying through the glorious, open skies! Write a flight theme to make the player feel the thrill of taking flight for the first time.

The goal is to write 2-4 bars of music a day minimum to get in the habit of idea generation and not worry about the finish and polish of full tracks.

Space Station Lobby

Working with the "Uni-pitch" today, I made a little disco track with chippy little one-pitched lead.

I found this one pretty tough! You'll notice that I cheated a little, with the pitch rolloff on parts of the melody. The last section makes use of octaves as well.

I enjoyed this one! Wish I'd had a little more time to play with the uni-pitch idea.

Day 8 - Mono

this is the track (read comments within the track to get a bit more of the story hehe): two 18 y/o boys are surfing, they're having a great time. next day early in the morning they realise they've got a test at college that day, of course they didn't prepare for it and they do terribly bad, but still they've got hope they'll pass

I composed the first half of this in my head while going back home extremely drunk with my friend Fufi one night but never programmed it before. I listened to the original recording I made like a year ago on my phone today and I laughed so loud, I was genuinely pissed when I recorded it. the second half of it just came to my mind after thinking of what to do after that "bluesy" sounding track, I decided to make something fun
