Confection are a duo from Sydney who make boogie/modern funk/pop/soul records. Or you could call it sweetfunk. 
They are Juanita Tippins who sings and Josh Beagley who does the music.

Their first album came out at the end of 2007 and their 2nd album "Private Conversations" was released late 2012, and they have a new album coming out in this Covidian Year of 2020.

He has done remixes for several artists, including Dezaray Dawn’s “Chameleon”, which was just featured in the Ava Duvernay directed short film entitled “The Door” for Miu Miu. Other remix projects have found him crossing paths with Carlitta Durand (Foreign Exchange, Little Brother) for the "Doug & Patty, Season Two: In Sheckyvison" EP, as well as a remix EP for D.C. songstress Green Tea ("The Crazy Eights"). In 2011, he released his own pet project, "Playin' Favorites", where he skillfully recrafted soulful covers of some of his favorite artists in his own inimitable way. Recently honored as one of ATL’s Ministers Of Sound, he is also a resident of the legendary Godfather party (a James Brown tribute DJ series). Applejac has also played across the US alongside the likes of Nicolay (Foreign Exchange), Daz-I-Kue (Bugz In The Attic), DJ Spinna, J Rocc (Beat Junkies), Ge-Ology, Benji B (BBC 1xtra), Rich Medina, Frankie Feliciano, Pete Rock and others...

JazzSole stands for Independent Progressive Soulful Music for the Feet. 

Selecta's Inna Vision and mind Eye who set up JazzSole are based in Rotterdam (the Netherlands) and have a passion to create an aware-ness for fresh underground music. Through organizing their own parties they build a network with people from all over the world who have the same urge to create positive energy through expression.

In their quest for progressive quality music they are heavily drawn to Broken Beatz and Future Jazz from the West London / Co-Op crew who fusion all styles of music they love with a massive edge. After visiting the Co-Op at Plastic People (London) Inna Vision and Mind Eye felt it was time to make a difference in the Netherlands organizing underground parties, Da Circle of Sole Sessions and Live N Direct, for more then 5 years now with special guests from West London (Afronaught, Dego, IG Culture) and other Soulful Artists from different parts of the world.

Inna Vision and Mind Eye have also been programming several festivals in the Netherlands and in 2006 they saw one of their dreams come through with a JazzSole Live N Direct stage at the famous North Sea Jazz festival, where they successfully programmed Eska Mtungwazi, Robert Mitchell and Soil and Pimp Sessions.
