Flux is the presence of a force field in a specified physical medium, or the flow of energy through a surface. Flux is present in all fields, in all disciplines. Observable almost everywhere - it can be both a vector or a scalar quantity.

We are all in flux, in flow; moving forward, through obstacles. We overcome and we push through. Regardless of what's in front of us, we must move past it.

This is a mix of flow, a story with no boundaries. A sonic tale of flux, which doesn't follow a set path. This set has no playlist, the mood of the present sets what is next.

XVII:

A sonic tale of refraction | Changing dynamic, altering energy and feeling, like light changing direction at the surface. 

Refraction reveals the fluidity of reality, and the malleability of perception. Material world can deceive our senses, and underlines the importance of looking beyond the surface to uncover the deeper truth behind ourselves, the world.

Darkness; it always surrounds us. It can take many forms, many shades. Some get stuck, some go through ; but we must all embrace it.

This mix explores the dark. No plan, just a ride through the dark forest of sound.

Tenebris [Session XVIII]

2015 passed so quickly. So many things happened. Received so much love, danced so many parties, met so many wonderful, enlightened people. 

I'd like to thank everyone who shares this passion, this burning fire for music. Especially, I'd like to thank Getting Deeper (my dear Priya), Herztoene, Motek and Andante for the wonderful opportunity to create a journey. 

To my wonderful salascious sounds family too. What a pleasure knowing you! An amazing occasion got to know Uwe and his musical universe too.

Cyril, 25 year-old, half French and half German, based on Bremen, Germany, co-founder and member of @conartism family, an open-minded drummer, a passionate marine biologist who enjoys to travel a lot in order to get to know other cultures and to gathering  different experiences. His early travels in Southeast Asia in 2014 and Spain in the Iberian Peninsula in 2015 expanding his horizons in many ways; specially his musical process. This 31th edition is a Mystigrix's downtempo selection where he use experimental/odd-one-out sounds putting on an experiment which becomes an inner-tripy. "No matter what style I'm exploring cause I'm always trying to set-up a story with my compilation-sound and seeking to bring a plenty awakeness!.", he said. When walking through the IST\031, we can feel, among its tracks and under the beats, a jouney  through one territory built up between intense and inward dreams.

Cyril, 25 anos, 1/2 francês 1/2 alemão, morando em Bremen, Alemanha, co-fundador e membro da Família @conartism, um baterista de mente aberta, um biólogo marinho apaixonado por viagens que possam contribuir para seu enriquecimento cultural e prover diferentes experiências. Suas viagens pelo Sudoeste Ásiático - 2014 e Espanha - 2015 Cyril expandiram seus horizontes existenciais de diversas maneiras; principalmente no que diz respeito a seu processo  musical. Esta 31ª edição é a seleção de um Mystigrix que abusa de  sons experimentais/ exóticos reunidos em uma reflexão que se torna multicultural. "Não importa o estilo que eu esteja explorando porque sempre tento definir uma história com a minha seleção musical e buscando trazer momentos lucidamente despertos." ele diz. Ao caminhar por este IST\031 podemos encontrar entre suas faixas e batidas um passeio que tange sob um território construído sob intensas e introspetivas identidades sonoras.

Ich heiße Cyril, ich bin halb Franzose halb Deutscher und 25 Jahre alt. Schlagzeug spiele ich mittlerweile seit 20 Jahren und der elektronischem Musik bin ich seit ungefähr 7 Jahren verfallen. Ich wohne in Bremen und studiere hier Meeresbiologie. Vor zwei Jahren habe ich mit Freunden das Kunst & Musik Kollektiv Conartism gegründet und seitdem veranstalten wir Open Airs und verrückte Parties mit abgefahrener Deko und versuchen Bremen was die elektronische Szene angeht auf den Kopf zu stellen. Seit kurzem produziere ich auch wieder und versuche mich musikalisch weiter zu entwickeln. Gespielt habe ich schon auf diversen Festivals ( Zurück zu den Wurzeln, Zugvögel, Keine Knete Trotzdem Fete, Wunderbar) in Spanien, Frankreich und an vielen Orten in Deutschland.

Hamburg electronic music duo with Syrian roots Shkoon delivers Underyourskin Records‘ next EP ‘Letters‘ - a musical clash of diverse folk and traditional influences fusing together with a downtempo house vibe. The dreamy ‘Ala Moj Al Bahr‘ plays with the symbiosis between oriental vocals and a desert like desolating sound construct that finds its peak in a melodic discrete synth oriented part that lets you feel the occident. JAVID‘s remix puts more emphasize on the folk elements of the original limiting the vocals to a minimum yet being so on point that the yearning for more is inevitable.
