It’s a jam packed, rapid fire version of our Hollywood Hot Take format in this episode as we discuss the news of the movie industry leading into the end of March.  Get caught up on all the big stories & recent castings / greenlights.  There will be banter.

As for news, Marvel has owned the box office for much of the month with Black Panther, only recently ceding its crown to Pacific Rim 2 while Avengers: Infinity War set trailer view count and pre-sale ticket records.  As for nonsense, Ben Affleck tats up & there’s a Pixar vs Disney bracket gone viral for us to debate.  We’ll also cover some interweaving stories involving film festivals like the Spielberg, Netflix, & Cannes drama, as well as the Call Me By Your Name, Beijing, Ivory & Guadagnino stories.  Our brains break over the newest pay gap scandal involving The Crown, and Movie Pass has lowered its price once again.

The episode also chronicles the news regarding upcoming films, whether it’s the freshly cast or greenlit.  Margot Robbie joins Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Joe Wright & Michael Showalter announce new movies, Jessica Chastain is still being cast in everything good as we’ll happily root for another team up with Octavia Spencer, you’ll be surprised to learn which documentary subject is an early Oscar frontrunner, we’re Team Johnson (that came out wrong?... no it didn’t), Iron Man becomes Doctor Doolittle, and Fox Marvel projects like X:Men get shuffled around by Disney.
