After one year off with no releases during 2022, "Dawn of Midnight" is my return to the release train and synthwave/retrowave genre. I wanted to make something that sounds classic synthwave, but at the same time fresh and with a chill/moody feeling.

There are more tracks in the release pipeline in the synthwave genre planned for 2023, so keep an eye & ear open for that if you enjoyed this.

Before I write anything else I need to stress something out - this track isn't composed for Tomb Raider the Dagger of Xian remake. With that being sad, let me explain what this is. ;) Back in 2008 I made my first Tomb Raider track and uploaded it to youtube. Some of TR fans remember it from Tomb Raider Himalayan Mysteries TLR game by Titak. Lately I've been composing music for Tomb Raider DoX, but usually writing music for the game means that you are limited by the atmosphere, location, gameplay... And you need to be careful not to overdo it, especially when it comes to the in-game music tracks. I've been missing making something more adventurous, lighter, louder (avoiding the word "epic" lol) - something that doesn't necessary need to fit the game, but still sounds familiar. Few weeks ago I've been reminded of the track from 2008, so I've decided to remake that theme. You can check the original track here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39ScP... I wanted to wait till January and make it sort of "anniversary of the track" or something, but I've finished it earlier than expected. The breakdown keeps the same offish notes which is perfectly composed, and we know we have a true original released with us. This French talent drops us a sound and we are more than content!

The remix is from no other than O.B.M Notion and he calls this one 'In the Storm mix'. So, press play and hold on to something preparing for the perfect storm by O.B.M Notion. Another dimension of this track occurs with acid leads and another path taken from the original. Still using the original notes but with other choices of sounds where their own imprint is inserted smoothly, and we get a remix within their storm of sensations and energetic emotions.

His first track "Isolated Love", release in 2010 was a little success for him.
