MikeRat is a producer/instructor based in Minneapolis, MN.  His music encompasses squelchy saw waves, bright arpeggiators, and his years as a drummer influenced mostly by hip-hop.  He'll sample anything from his favorite cartoons to old-school kung-fu movies, with a frightening adoration of ninjas.  His tunes like to play pranks while occasionally dipping into more serious and even heartfelt themes.  He's been heard across labels like Wormhole and The Great Magnet, and is a resident performer of Infrasound Music Festival.
