Nature's Calling EP

Calm Callings/Nature's Calling is one of the kinds of albums where you can sit back or lay in peace listening to. It can take you on an escape into a trance or dreamscape through with its soundscapes and distant airy sounding synths. Enjoy an album that was inspired by some of the greats (Brian Eno, Edgar Froese, Jean Michel Jarre, Klaus Schulze, Kraftwerk, and more) whether it be simplistic or complex sounding. 

This album contains tracks going back to 2010 ('Distant Sorrowful Visions' and 'The Day Your World Stands Still'), 2012 ('Nature's Calling Pt, 1, 2, 3') and up to present time. With the influence of artists such as Brian Eno, Edgar Froese, Klaus Schulze, Jean Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, the xx, and many more, comes 'Calm Callings/Nature's Calling'.

I came up with this tune on the 3rd of February, 2014 and worked on it for a good week straight. I just can't get it out of my head now. I did a rough mix, but I think it passes by as a decent mix. Enjoy.

I started with the first riff you hear and elaborated more and more and came up with this song in just a few hours. I thought it deserved to be heard by many friendly ears.

An Invisible Light (2014)

I put something together while experimenting with sounds and synths and this is what I got out of the fun of making this track. It's dark, ambient, and it makes me cringe listening to this while roaming in the dark.

Whispers in Dark Silence {Original Concept}

This track draws influence from Brian Eno's collaborative album, 'Small Craft on a Milk Sea' with Jon Hopkins & Leo Abrahams. The title track 'Small Craft on a Milk Sea' was the sole influence and inspiration for this track. Secondly, this track also draws influence from The XX's opening track, Intro' from their debut album.

Day of Memory (2014)

Some time in 2010, I came up with this track when I was watching one of those history, war, shows involving veterans talking about what went down when they were in the wars and lost friends and loved ones. I thought I would make a tribute track to the veterans and all those who have lost loved ones to wars and such violence.

Distant Sorrowful Visions (Concept, Demo / 2010)

The first part of the EP which I used Jean Michel Jarre's 'Oxygene 2' track from his AERO album as a reference and inspiration to capture this song to be the introduction of two other parts.

The third and last part of the EP. This track used Jean Michel Jarre's 'Oxygene 6' and 'Equinoxe 8' track from the original 'Oxygene' and 'Equinoxe' albums as a reference and inspiration.

Nature's Calling Pt, III (Concept '2012')

I'm a passionate and striving music maker who creates ambient, electronic, and spacey instrumentals and soundscapes for those seeking out meditative escapes for their imaginations. Some of my influences and inspirations: Jean-Michel Jarre, Brian Eno, Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, and many more.

Every contribution keeps me motivated and inspired to continue sharing my gift and love for making music.

Brief History of Mikerosynth:

I've been creating various types of music since 2005, when I was introduced to FL Studio by a friend who showed me an early demo (FL Studio 7's demo), and I fell in love. I was mesmerized by it. Since then, I have conceptualized many concepts and ideas. I went through so many names in the past to fit the sound I create, and I finally landed on Mikerosynth, because it just stuck. 

Mikerosynth - Present Day:

My real name is Mike, and my music spans from Ambient Electronic to Synthwave and Experimental. I've evolved my palette of music taste since I first started messing around with FL Studio. I attended and graduated from an audio engineering course, which gave me more confidence mixing and tweaking how I want my song to sound using different pieces of equipment, whether it be working with analog or digital (virtual) gear with FL Studio's library of plugins and VSTs to make much better and more colourful music.

As you can see, I have posted up tracks listed with the labels "WIP" (Work in Progress) or "Demo," but don't worry, I will get around to finishing and posting completed mixes in the near future. I will continue to brainstorm ideas, apply my talents, and craft a better and more fitting listening experience.
