Fall

First, there was amazing music made by STONERJAZZ. Then, I composed a poem and integrated it, surprising myself with having written the first 'love' poem in a long time - and to Snow White of all fairy-tale people! To highlight it all, TEXMEX SHAMAN made the music ring out even more beautifully. Eventually I created some artwork, inspired (by some reason I don't grasp myself at the moment) by those expensive vinyl imports from Japan. It might have to do with how much I value Jeff's and Stephen's guitar playing and creativity. It's a thrill ride to collab with those two experimental musicologists ;-)

Fairies have always belonged to the threshold—between seen and unseen, matter and mystery.
In the oldest Celtic and Norse traditions, they were not the delicate sprites of bedtime tales, but radiant, otherworldly beings: the Sídhe, the Álfar—powerful presences tied to sacred mounds, hidden groves, and the thin veil between worlds. They were not small, nor harmless, but liminal—both beautiful and dangerous, a reminder that reality is deeper than appearances.

Over centuries, their image transformed. Medieval storytellers softened them into tricksters and helpers. The Renaissance gave them stage-light in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Synthetic Fairy fuses the raw soul of blues and progressive rock with the shimmer of synths, vocoder, and progressive house. Each track is an echo of that transformation: from the deep, mysterious resonance of the old fairy to the sparkling, electric shimmer of the modern one.

These six instrumental journeys are not bound by words, but by presence—fairies reborn in circuitry, wings made of oscillation, voices carried on vocoder wind, and flight sustained by house rhythms.

Thank you very much to everyone who takes the time to listen, like and share my noises. I am extremely grateful. My apologies if I take a little while to respond to those that leave nice comments.

I like listening to music, making simple, tunes when I have time, and generally faffing about in an inefficient manner. Hopefully you might like something on offer here. 

I use a Hinkler Cigar Box guitar (about $30 from Aldi, great fun), a Flying V ukulele, a couple of old keyboards, other bits and bobs, and a Yamaha tenor saxophone.
